Tiff still don't know how the HVAC in this house works. Couple of days ago, it was warm, so she turns off the heating system thinking it's going to chill the house down. Well, it doesn't. She thinks just because the thing is turned to "heat", it means that the heat is going to kick, even when the temp is set at 72, and the actual temp of the house is 75.....

Now, it's 40 outside, I come home and it's freezing in here.....

What do you guys think. My daughter is pretty mature. She has once again, passed the gifted and talented assessment.

But her school isn't one of the schools with that program. That means if I wish to enroll her in the program, she'd have to switch schools.

There's the background.

Here's some factors.

She loves her current school.

All her buddies are here

She's pretty self driven

The location of the school is convenient

I like the school

No pressure here

I can supplement her education myself

I asked her if she'd like to go to a new, nicer school for next year. And of course, she said no.

What would you do?

This is my planned course of action. Let her think that I'm honoring her wish. Keep her here another year, see how she does, let her get assessed again.
