Just reporting that I received the offical I-797 in the mail. Two things jumped out to me: 1. It says "listed consulate" but there is none. 2. A few paragraphs but nothing about what the next steps

I don't know when exactly mine was assigned - I called today and immediately checked ceac and the status was available.

I got the approval text/email today. The approve date was 4/3 good Friday!

Exactly 210 days from NOA1 and I am feeling kind of lucky ...

8/28/14：I-129F sent

9/4/14: $340 check posted to my bank account

9/5/14: email and text acceptance confirmation received

9/8/14: online status shows Alien Registration Number changed

9/12/14: Form I-797C received in the mail

4/7/15: Got text message and email saying the case was approved

4/9: Form I-797 received in the mail

4/13: Got text message and email saying the case was sent to the Department of State for visa processing

4/20: Called NVC and was told they just received it today

4/22: Called NVC, no case# yet

4/27: Called NVC, got case#, invoice# and beneficiary id#

So I checked USCIS to see if my case has been sent to NVC yet and it said it was updated 4/7 and that my case was approved on 4/6 but I had gotten my approval on 4/2. I am so confuse? This happen to anyone else?

I just checked and nope just showing that on April 03 my case was sent to NVC. I'm guessing it was an error on the person inputting your information in the system. I would worry to much about it. Call the NVC next week to see if your case is there.

I feel so behind! I was afraid of jinxing myself by preparing too much for the next steps (silly I know!). Now I feel so overwhelmed! I have most of the interview packet put together, but haven't done the I-134 or anything.

No problem when we've waited as long as we have paranoia starts to kick in I know. What I am doing is asking my fiancé to gather the documents he will need for the interview. In Haiti some of these things take a while to receive so I'm glad just two weeks ago I asked him to start gathering them just in case.

Oh yes, I saw that too. I'm hoping that we can be out of NVC by the end of this month. Fingers crossed.

I saw that your local office is Miami. I'm a bit weary about the POE there. Haha oh well I'm getting too ahead of myself thinking about POE :D

Yes I am a nervous wreck. I couldn't believe that mines got shipped to NVC I've seen it take up to a week for some people so when I got the text my heart almost stopped as I thought maybe it was them saying hey we incorrectly notified you of an approval...lol :) Miami is really horrible I will be opting for Fort Lauderdale thank god I have that option.

Thanks for starting this! I tried to start this a few weeks ago, but there weren't any Sept. TSC's except for me and a couple of others.

Here's my update:

NOA2: March 20th

Sent to NVC: April 1st

NVC has not received the petition. I called for the 2nd time today and I was told to wait 35 days. I'm going to call every week.

Just to confirm: after NVC receives it, the three numbers we need are:

1. Case number

2. Invoice number

3. Beneficiary ID number

I want this to move FASTER already!
