It took a week to change from Refused to Ready. We were not asked to fill out additional forms. They might respond Tuesday. It appears they are closed this next Thursday and Friday. http://www.slec.ph/

Congrats. We did dot as well. SLEC told me they deliver the sealed medical reports to the embassy in the morning. So, they will most likely deliver Friday's envelopes on Monday morning to the embassy. I emailed SLEC a day or two after my fiancee's remedical and they replied promptly stating the day they sent the envelope over to the embassy, which was next day after remedical. So maybe email them Tuesday and most likely you'll get a reply like this:

Mr. ....,

Based on our file, Ms. ............., medical report was forwarded to the US Embassy on January 14, 2015.

Thank you.

St. Luke's Medical Center Extension Clinic

After that, your ceac status should change from Refused to Ready.

Thank you so much for that information! :) I will email them this Monday or Tuesday. Though I doubt if they are open due to Holy Week. How long did it take before your CEAC status changed from Refused to Ready? And lastly, did St. Lukes or the US Embassy asked you to fill up DS2054, DS3030 and DS3026? I read from other post/topic here in Visa Journey that applicants who underwent DOT was asked to fill up these forms.

First rule of the Philippines...follow up, follow up, and follow up some more, especially if there are delays. If there are delays go up the chain of command to find out WHY things are taking so long, especially when dealing with a private expensive hospital like St. Lukes.

Here's an example, kinda unrelated, but the same concept. Whenever I go to buy something and I hear "sorry out of stock" I make sure that the person in question can somehow demonstrate that they even know what I am talking about. I can't recall how many times I've busted people for lying in some way shape or form simply because they are too lazy to do the bare necessities of their job. Even better is to ask for someone who knows what is going on and make sure to get their name. Usually the smart people looking for future promotions will be more than happy to get things straightened out to get the heat off their bosses/owner.

Hello there! St. Lukes already replied to my email saying that they already forwarded my husband's medical documents to USEM. I have a question regarding change in CEAC status. When your fiance's status changed from Refused to Ready, was that because USEM received the medical documents or was that because you were given an interview schedule?

Oh cool, congrats! The ceac status changes from Refused to Ready because the embassy removes the hold that is placed on our case as a result of slec reporting the positive tb to them. Ready happens after the embassy opens the sealed medical report and changes ceac to Ready.

My fiancée interviewed the day after her remedical, when ceac still said refused. It's no problem, the paperwork all catches up.

Hello there! My husband finished his almost 8 months DOT in St. Lukes last September 2014. Since retrogression hit us, we didn't had him do the repeat medical right after. Now that his priority date will be current soon, he took his repeat medical last March 9, 2015. He was informed to call St. Lukes 7-10 working days after to find out what the result is. March 19 we called them and he was informed that he passed and just have to wait for the immunization and release date. St. Lukes advised us to call them back for another week (March 25) to know when will the immunization day is.,However, last Monday March 23 I asked him to call back St. Lukes and he was informed to wait for someone to call him in his phone around noon of March 24 (Tuesday) but noone call him. :'( Is this normal? For those who finished yhe DOT and took their repeat medical, did you guys also had to wait for another 2 weeks or so just to find out when will the immunization and release of documents/results will be?

Sorry, just curious... whats retrogression that caused your husband's delayed medical? Atleast youre getting close to finish line now :)

Hi! I just want to know how long did it take before you or your fiance received the visa from the day of the interview? How long did it take before the CEAC changed from Ready to Issued? St. Lukes sent my husband's repeat medical documents since March 31 but ours is still under Refused. He had his interview last Monday (May4) and was approved but up until now CEAC is still under Refused.
