Tracking EP at the NVC (YOUR DATA NEEDED!)

It's pretty obvious to some of us that Electronic Processing is far behind paper processing. Ariani has done EXCELLENT work with the NVC tracking spreadsheet for case completes (found here), while the ever wonderful Saylin has the incredibly detailed spreadsheet for every step of the process (found here).

What I'm proposing is a simplified spreadsheet for EP applicants so we can keep an eye on where EP is, at a glance, without adding more to Ariani or Saylin's workload with their amazing spreadsheet or having to see how far ahead everyone else is every time we want to estimate our own timelines.

So here's the new one for those of us waiting for EP.

PS: Please write your dates in here and I'll track them, just to make sure we don't have any accidents with someone deleting data or anything like I've seen on other group tracking projects other places online.

I am all for adding a column in the current one, but also it is hard to collate the data for EP compared to paper in one spreadsheet and I find it really discouraging to see all the CCs that are for dates far after my scandate (nearly a month after in some cases) while my case hasn't been touched, so I thought that this would be good to have as well. It's not meant to replace anyone's work, but to add on and give us a safe space, if that makes sense.

Thank you for the data so far. I'm hoping we'll hear from a few more people with recent Case Complete so we can start figuring out how long it's taking. If you know anyone, drop them a PM!

I know that feeling. At this point, I'd cry, but I'd welcome a checklist just so I know that something's happening. I really thought this would be faster, but I gambled wrong, dammit.

I have called repeatedly and asked exactly that. I have been told that there is absolutely no difference between EP and paper filers and that anyone telling me different is lying to me. Most recently, they refused to answer the question and just kept repeating "Ma'am, can I help you with anything else?" over and over until I hung up in frustration.

They refuse to acknowledge there's a difference, even when I start reading off dates from the spreadsheets.

Have you asked to have your case escalated to a supervisor?

That's what I did, and even after that it took another 5 working days.
