Getting Green Card after filing for AOS

Just looked at your timeline. You mean from filing to Greencard production it was 5 months?

And you received your NPIW letter AND your GC went into "Card Production" on the same day?! How the heck does anyone get that lucky!

They filed before the major queues started. Hopefully USCIS will play catch up before summer comes.

Fingers crossed! My congressman's rep said to contact her again if I hadn't heard anything by the end of Feb, so I've just dropped her another email.

Have you asked for an info pass and asked where your file is sitting? Hopefully not at the NBC collecting dust!

Removal of Conditions..  TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK

Time to reset the tick tock clock again.   Roll my eyes.

Ringing them and mentioning one seems to get some movement.

So it wasn't always like this? When did these queues start and how long was the average NPIW wait time before?

05-18-2022: Filed N-400 online. Received online NOA and Biometrics re-use.

06-03-2022: Interview scheduled (online notice).

06-10-2022: Interview letter received via USPS.

07-11-2022: Naturalization Interview

If you look at the beginning of the NPIW thread it will give you an idea. It was an average of 10 months when the thread started, now that wait is more lengthy, however sometimes they play catch up. It really depends on (from what I can gather) what they are concentrating on at the time and how many back logs they have in other areas.

Married Sept 22, 2014. Filed AOS on Sept 29. Biometrics done end of October. EAD/AP received in mail on November 27. GC received February 9 (dated January 30, 2015).

No interview, and no interview waiver (I assume that as I didn't get a waiver letter, it wasn't actually "waived", just deemed unnecessary).

I figure it made up for a crappy K1 timeline (that took 11 months).

Wow, wow, wow. Glad you got a quick AOS, seeing as the K1 was a long one!

-Applied for I-129 in February 2014

-Had my interview at the embassy in my country and got approved in June 2014

-Came to US in July 2014

-Got married in August 2014

-Applied for AOS in August 2014

-Got a RFE in September 2014

-Had my Biometric appointment in October 2014

-Got my EAD in November 2014 (a month after BIo app)

-Got a letter yesterday that schedule us for interview for April 2015

(We are in California, so I guess it depends from case to case, but after you Apply for AOS is more or less up to 6 months)
