Hi everyone,

My husband arrived to Washington Dulles POE on Tuesday, June 23rd. The lines were super long and although the TSA and Customs people appeared to be treating everyone not so nicely, they treated my husband very kindly and gave him a "Welcome, Buddy!" when he went through. I am so happy he's here and now we're beginning our life together.

The process sucks so much and tests your patience, but when you finally see your loved one in the airport--jetlagged though they may be--you know it's worth it. Good luck everyone!

Congrats :) :), Every word you said is absolutely true, It's what we all waiting for hopefully inshallah our loved ones will be with us soon.

I emailed them for explanation, they didn't even respond!

and yes the scheduling is supposed to be based on who submit his papers first

I submitted the final papers for a K-1 Visa around mid-April and have been checking regularly to see where they are in the scheduling process. For about a month and half they have been telling me that they are currently scheduling people who submitted their paperwork at the beginning of March. However, a friend that is in the same process sent his papers in mid/late March and his fiancé has an interview for July 29th. I feel like they are not taking everyone in the order that they submitted, what can I do to try to get a better idea of when the interview will be so we can plan our wedding? Our process has already been taking 14 months from NoA1.

Don't feel bad guys. It will come sooner or later. I think my situation is worse than anyone here. Me and my fiancé started our overwhelmed journey in January 2014, she had her interview on March 29. They toilet her passport and put her under AP and since that date and we've been waiting :( don't know how long more it will take. It has been very painful
