Hey all,

My fiancé and I are refiling our I-129F petition after being approved in Jan. 2014. We had to withdraw because of his schools and the adjustment of status conflict. I am going to mail off the petition February in less than 2 weeks. I have pretty much gotten everything prepared and ready to send off tomorrow but that $340.00 is not within my budget. lol Anyhow, I would like for February 2015 filers to post updates about their cases. I noticed that the processing time for TSC is backed up to June 2014 and I am just hoping that it will not take that long. My fiace finished his Ph.D in October. I am hoping that it will not take too long but I am also hoping that it doesn't happen to quick. Boy is this twisted! Anyway glad to be back. Oh my first petition was filed in Sept. 2013 and I was approved Jan 2014. I have a bumped along the way for more evidence but it still went by fast.

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Hi

May I know where you get the amount of $340? I was checking www.us-immigration.com and when I click on start the process right away, it gives me the amount of $160.00 for the preparation fee. We're also filing I129f hopefully this February, just waiting some of my fiancé's documents that would be sent altogether with the package.

Goodluck on your journey

Unfortunately, the only cases I've seen with quick equatable approvals through Texas are from the Philippines.

Hello Guys, I have a Question about USPS mailing service, which i don't understand to be honest. Can anybody please help me to understand?

Well , the Question is That we have sent out our petition on 31st Jan 2015 through USPS priority mail and they have updated the status as " Your item arrived at the Dallas , TX 75266 post office and it is ready for pick up " , Do we need to call USCIS to pick up our package or should we wait ?

I Would wait. I'm waiting for a respond, what I've seen here is that within 7-10 days we should receive a note saying that they have accept our package.

February filer here also. I sent the packet on the 4th of Feb and it was signed for on the 5th. I am waiting patiently for the NOA1 from CSC because I live in Arizona, the wait is killing me. I have been with my fiancée for 2 years now and we met in the hardest place to meet woman. We were both working in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia where she was a teachers aid and I was working on airplanes at their military base. It has been crazy waiting this time for the NOA's but I now it wont be long until I get to she her again. GOOD LUCK all of you and hope your process will be fast and you will be with the one you love soon.

Hi All!

My fiance and I are filing, so excited! Mailed out the packet on 1/22, it finally showed as delivered on the usps tracking website on 2/4. There weren't any tracking updates beyond the initial acceptance until that date 2/4, I was freaking out thinking they lost it in the mail. I got the text/email USCIS Acceptance Confirmation today, 2/9. We got lucky and were sent to the California Service Center! Waiting for NOA1 to arrive in the mail. I'll update when things happen. Good luck!

Hi everyone, first post on this forum! I'm looking to file for my fiance in Germany this month itself, and I live in New York. I've seen conflicting information on people saying that the New York filings are now going to Texas, rather than VSC. Would anyone know if this is a policy change, or if this just happens in order to load balance between the various service centers. I hadn't realized how long the process would take (even for a EU citizen) and so had already booked a wedding reception venue for end of October 2015, and I'm now trying to figure out worst-case scenarios if my fiance's K1 visa isn't approved before then. So any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
