Thanks Sharksbelow for quick reply.

Yes, all these documents have "F" as document status, does "F" mean it's not required? yes I read the status codes, like you mentioned "F The NVC did not request this form or document",but does it mean you don't need to bring for the interview - at least that's what I am reading. I hope you are right because we can't provide these docs as they don't exist for us. I will call NVC but wanted to see what other peoples experiences on this.

Have you looked at the letter next to each line and made sure that they are indeed asking for this? What I mean is, all of those things are listed for me too, but because they have "F" next to them which means "F The NVC did not request this form or document", I don't need to bring them.

Just make sure you're checking that part. If you have already checked that, I have no idea. Might have to call NVC or email your embassy.

mkhandrika, what is number 12 (Photocopies of 1,3,4,5,6 and 7)? I have my wife's interview in march, so just wanted to make sure I don't miss anything.

Hi everyone

Its so nice to hear more CC's, interviews getting scheduled and Visa approvals. Me and my husband have been apart for 11 month now and we have first anniversary this month. So I know how everyone feel. So its great to see people are getting united with their loved ones :)

I have my interview on 27th Feb in Mumbai. According to P4, I just need to take Passport and photos. But I am planning to take following

1) P4 Letter

2) Passport

3) Photos

4) Medical Report

5) DS-260 Confirmation Page and Biometric Appointment confirmation (which is done)

6) Marriage Certificate

7) Indian PCC from District Police and Passport Office

8) Birth Certificate

9) W2 2013 (My husband is going to send this to me) My husband had filed taxes without extension and had sent IRS transcripts to NVC

10) Letter from Employer - Experience Letter (I have resigned from my job)

11) Education - Degree certificates

12) Photocopies of 1,3,4,5,6 and 7

13) Marriage Invitation

14) Marriage and trip photos

15) Skype call logs (still thinking whether to take these)

dwheels, do you think anything is missing?

Please let me know if you guys think anything is missing.

Also, does anyone here at VJ have their interview at 7:30 27th Feb in Mumbai consulate?

Thank you so much and good luck everyone

Are you saying the Beneficiary and the Petitioner name is incorrect on your interview letter but everything else is right? Like what else is right? Sounds like your got someones else letter. Oh my (it has happened. I would gather just the Case # is correct right.

Well of course you have to call you can;t make a move with wrong data like that. Best time to call is early morning late evening or if you have the time just keep calling. But you have no choice in the matter because you won;t be getting in the embassy nor getting a medical with wrong information like this. Sorry.

Hello. sorry for late reply i was lately extremely busy. the Applicant and Petitioner names are correct even the case number.

the only something wrong is someone who is at the heading of the letter.

Its an other person with address from Philippines.

we have contacted NVC for the matter and said that they are going to correct it but its being late.

meanwhile we are proceeding with Medical exam on next Monday because the interview day is getting close and at the medical they have accepted to book for us with the P4 letter with the mistake.

wht do you think

Hello everyone, we received IL for my wife in Mumbai, however, some of the documents they requested are not even related to our case for instance;

Adoption

Court records

Military records

Petitioner marriage certificate (they are asking for her marriage certificate and my marriage certificate...there is only marriage certificate you get)

Petitioner birth certificate (I thought birth certificate needed for applicant's only)

Is this normal that they ask information randomly? even though it's not relevant, also, what should we do?

If you look at that list they aren't asking for it. Look at the key. If NVC has it they will forward to the embassy.

Hi Everyone,

I called NVC yesterday and found out we got a case complete (yay!) and an interview date of March 16th. I haven't received the e-mail confirmation yet informing me of the interview date however was informed by NVC staff person that it would be sent out within a week. For those of you who have also had your case complete and received an interview date, is it advisable to begin the process of having my spouse obtain his medical or should we wait till we get the official interview date e-mail?

Thank you.

Well you have no flag or timeline so have no idea what country. Every country is different. Some you need no interview letter. So hard to s=advise if we don;t know. Once you have interview sure you are free to have medical but as I said some places you need letter. So what country?

Also helps so I can add you to spreadsheet for our data.

By the way congratulations on CC and Interview date.

Hahaha... this is so cute! I'm not a good flyer, I never have been but since having my daughter i'm even worse (as I only ever fly now with her).

I was so nervous for the interview and wondered if I would end up passing out. I suppose it's almost more nerve racking if you're not there and have no control over the situation..... but you deserve some good luck. I will be thinking of you and keeping my fingers crossed.

So so happy to see this!!! :dancing::dancing::dancing:

OMG I love to fly, take off and landing my favorite thing in the world hahahaaa. Well, I can see you being concerned since your with your little one but all will be great so try your best to enjoy sweet heart.

Oh I bet you were nervous, the unknown always is. It's sad we have to feel this way when we have done nothing wrong. Something very wrong with someone having that much power over your life and no recourse to have it fixed. No one should have that much power over anyone and on top of that with impunity, that is the scary part and I'm happy that is over for you.

Thank you my angel for you kind and heart warming words. God willing all will be well. :)graphics-love-909133.gif picgifs-love-312045.gif

After your interview, if you are approved, how long does it take to get the physical visa?

Looks like for Madrid looking at your info page. Maybe less or more I would check the embassy website also.

Visa issued same day? No ball.gif If not whats the waiting period? This is mailed to you and you should receive it within 14 days. I asked for mine to be sent by courier due to the appalling postal service in my area and the consulate obliged, though I do pay on delivery.

Thanks DWheels76.

Document status is "F" for those documents...Does "F" mean we don't need to bring it to the interview? We can't provide these docs since they don't exist.
