Bem,while I agree with you that they need to update us (those who have pending interviews), I don't think it fair for you to request theirs when you cannot update your timeline for others behind you

i think so. I had my interview last Friday. They took tax transcripts for 2013 and did not ask for anything else.

okay thats good! thank you for the reply! another question, did you send your original doc's and copies of the doc's to the nvc? if so did the embassy have them and give them back to you?

VISA Approved!!!

We had our interview this morning at the Santo Domingo embassy. There was some confusion for a few folks over the new process here with the opening of ustraveldocs. The facility is new and gorgeous but the interview itself was a horrible experience with an older female consular that was very rude and insulting the entire time. I was embarrassed that this person represented the United States to my wife. BUT, that's behind us now and my wife was approved so we are going to keep looking forward to being together soon. We are giddy with excitement as we think about going to the airport together!! I will post a detailed interview experience a little later.

Hey! Wow that's insane! I read your review and I was shocked! Especially since I'm going there next week, we have our interview on the 4th of February and I will be there with my wife. Can you please tell me how long it took you to get the documents back so your wife can travel back with you (if that's the case). I chose to pick it up ourselves, but I'm not sure how long it'll take. I dream of my wife flying back to the U.S. with me. Also, is there anything specific we need to either watch out for, or be careful about? We're ready, but a bit nervous since these CO's are unpredictable.

We did electronic processing, so i brought all my originals and they returned my birth certificate and marriage certificate. they kept police certificates though.

recent interview date! how long did it take you to get your passport after interview? MONTREAL Embassy only please! thank you!

How much is the longest waits for sheduling?I hope so I have my interview letter soon, I dont know how much I will wait yet.

Her Dewheelness knows best but I don't think Bosnia is a busy Embassy so I would think you get your interview very soon. But Dwheels knows best. :) So just hang in there she will be by to help you. :D
