Just need a little advice Been reading about bringing my Fiancée over and the steps to take.

You send in the I-129F and wait for further info to fill out other forms. I have also read about

the G325A form. Do you send this as well or wait for it to be asked for?

Yes, it's mandatory. And make sure you use the G-325A (emphasis on the letter A).

There was a copy of a memo floating around from the mid 2000s about signatures not being required, but I strongly recommend you have her sign hers. In an RFE I got about the G325A, their text asked for a "properly submitted and SIGNED G-325A".

You need to send the whole packet, all forms, all proof that you have met in person, boarding passs etc,

Read very well the guides.

Form g-325a require 2 passport style photos, for you both.

Take your time and read very very well the guides.

2 letters of intent to marry one for you and other for your fiance with original signature.

Relax and read.

I was reading on one of the topics about the G-325A and one said to sign one said not to sign.

Since she is not here should she scan it in with her signature or leave it blank for the signature

Of course it has to be signed. Anyone who says it doesn't is WRONG.

If in doubt over something do it anyway.

All forms have to be signed and dated and should be a wet signature, some people have gotten away with a copy but I think it's easier to have a wet one because you will lose more time if you get an RFE than just to get it signed and mailed to you in the first place.

Is G325A needed with I-129F filling?

Yes.

Please latch on to a PC, connect it to the Internet, come back and visit VJ again,

and hit the GUIDES section, studying the K-1 sub-section, soonish.

I assume yer using a handphone, as 'what to do' is covered in the GUIDES section here.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Take some serious time and do your research on this website. Don't think on your own, don't try to do any shortcuts, and do NOT hire a lawyer. Most people that hire lawyers end up angry, disappointed, and a couple thousand dollars lighter in the wallet.

If you take some time and do your research, you will be fine. If you don't then you will end up having issues and possibly getting denied.

Everyone on this site is here to help so make sure you ask questions after doing some research.

Good luck!

Oh, to answer your question: You will absolutely need your fiance's original signature on the G325A as well as the letter of intent to marry. No, a scanned copy will not work. You might get lucky and the agents might not notice, but if they do notice you will get an RFE and cause this process to take longer.

Thank you for all your great advice.

When filling out the forms and it asks for the address for Filing.

I am guessing you put the lock box address

USCIS
P.O. Box 660151
Dallas, TX 75266

Also has anyone dealt with the Germany Consulate? From

what I read you have to go to Frankfurt. They have an office in Berlin

also but still have to go to Frankfurt for immigration? Thanks

Of course it has to be signed. Anyone who says it doesn't is WRONG.

Then the USCIS is wrong? > http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/USCIS/Laws/Memoranda/Static_Files_Memoranda/Archives%201998-2008/2005/i129f_g325a_110105.pdf

OP> You do not simply supply the form and wait for them to ask for other things. If you only send the I-129F and nothing else, you can be outright denied. While it is possible to have the beneficiary put 'will sign at interview/consulate' on their G-325A, it is probably best to just have them sign it, since they will need to sign a letter of intent and provide a passport photo as well. They can just sign them both and mail them along with the passport photo to the USC petitioner to include with the I-129F.

That's an almost decade old memo, I would not trust it. And in the RFE I got (I submitted G325 instead of G325A), they asked for a signed form. Perhaps the issue is that some adjudicators are unaware of that old memo, or maybe it's been superseded by something else, but since you need your fiance's signature on the letter of intent anyway, it makes sense to sign both.

Yes, it is an old memo, but people have been successful stating they will sign the G-325A form at the interview. I cannot find any other memos that supersede it though.. The current AFM just has general RFE guidelines and nothing specific to the I-129F petition, but it does also state to adhere to USCIS policy, including memos. The new policy manual does not yet list any info for case processing.

It probably will depend on the adjudicator, as do other aspects. Some will accept a scanned letter of intent, and some will send an RFE for an original signature. The instructions ask for a signed G-325A, and that is why I said people would be best in following the form instructions.

I was just making the point that not anyone saying the form did not need to be signed by the foreign fiance(e) for the I-129F petition submission would not necessarily be 'WRONG'.
