Hi everyone,

We have Couple questions and any advises will help a lot.

So, our window to send the I751 is next week on Dec/10th. But we are going to Pennsylvania to spend the Christmas with my wife's family and after that we are going to Brazil to spend the New Years with my family and my wife will be doing a study abroad for the first 2 weeks in Brazil as well.

My questions is: Should we send the papers next week but take the risk to miss the biometric appointment.?? OR... What we think is the best for us now: Wait when we get back so we can send the papers on time because my GC expired first week March... BUT.. I am a really afraid because I will enter in the USA 7 weeks before my GC expired... My wife will be there with me and She thinks will be fine because I am entering before expire my GC.. So.. Do you think I can have any problem with the imigration re-entering in USA??

Thank you so much for the help

  • 5 months later...

The latest update from the USCIS website regarding processing times. For form I-751 - September 29, 2014, meaning the last case before updating the chart. I applied in Dec. 2014.......have to wait....again.
