Thank you for the info. Dwheels. I appreciate it. God Bless you. Just knowing the Nigeria is not the easiest embassy makes me a little nervous for my hubby. So we are trying to prepare as much as possible ahead of time to reduce the stress. So I'll try not to be anxious. I know God has already moved on our behalf and I'm going to have faith and believe we will get approved without delay. God Bless You.

That's the spirit. Your VJ name says it all. You are a TagTeam. God's got this. Rest your nerves. I know it can be cray cray reading reviews and denials and AP and contact sheets but that' not ya'll okay.

Just say to your self. "I am not being picked on, I am hand picked by God". :goofy:

I tried. i called NVC and they told me it left on Decmber 11, i am using the method on first page and it says :

EXP 11 DEC 2014A (Not found): No result found for your DHL query. Please try again

does it need more time to appear ?

I'll try to explain what happens...

When NVC is ready to ship your file to your consulate, they enter it into DHL's logistics system. This does not mean it actually leaves the NVC premises on the day it is assigned to an "EXP" date. The files go to a central location at NVC, and are bundled together for each embassy. DHL probably picks up the bundles at certain times - not necessarily on the day that you got the EXP date.

For example: My file was given its EXP date on a Friday, but it didn't get picked up by the DHL courier until MONDAY. When I finally hit the right EXP date, I had to have about a 5 day range in the date range field.

So, if NVC says your packet left on a certain date, you don't REALLY know if that is the EXP date that was assigned to your shipment, or the physical date your packet left the building.

That's why you have to play with the EXP date, as well as the "date range" on the DHL page.

Also, on the DHL page, if you don't put in your particular embassy, you might not be able to see your packet. Only the first 10 packets show up on the screen. I've never been able to figure out how to page down.

It's not easy to find a specific package. Keep trying EXP dates!

Thought I would take a sneaky look on the CEAC site this morning by logging in.

Says my case is now at the Sydney embassy, however, the AoS fee is showing paid again.

What is your experience? Normal? Can you take a peak and let me know if yours is showing that also :-)

I just can't believe, but NVC sends us another letter now, merely 1day since CC, and our interview date is scheduled!! :wow:

CC(e-mail) Dec 11

P4(e-mail) Dec12

Interview date scheduled: JAN 26

I think Japanese US embassy has many empty slots, because there's not much immigrants in our country.. :)

Congratulations. That was very fast and you are probably right.

I would suggest an original signature, not a photocopy.

I want to use this medium to wish everyone well. To everyone waiting for their interview date, by God grace you will receive it very soon and to those going for their interview, do not worry you are already approved, just go in there with courage and at the end you gonna come out praising God. I now understand the happiness you get being with your spouse. Have been a happy wife since the day my husband arrived up till now. Everything has been so good. I am very proud to say thank God for giving me my sam, I am proud to say that i got married to a good Nigerian man. Also we got his SSN card in the mail and since then he has been getting several calls to work for them because of his work experience and his high level education. I just very happy because everything has changed for good. I thank God for everything and i will always say a big thanks to Dwheels. May God bless you. Amen

Frnds....

My interview is on Jan 16th at Mumbai consulate. I have few doubt's regarding the biometrics n medicals

1)is it ok to do the biometrics on the previous day of interview??or shud we schedule it 3-4 days before d interview date??

Coz we need to reach Mumbai according to dat

2)what should we do if we don have the vaccination history ?? Bcoz I read sumver dat v need to have dat ven v go for d medical checkup

Pls help me out

Good luck for your interview :-)

yup, you can do your bio-metrics on the previous day of your interview (only think you need to check the availability/appointment on that day).My interview was on December 11 th and i did my bio-metrics on 10th december at mumbai...As i already mentioned 'VAC/OFC and consulate' are in different locations (2-3 km distance).Ask for Trade center for bio-metrics and consulate for interview (near Trident hotel/city bank etc). Both are in same Bandra kurla complex.

2.nothing to worry about vaccine, your physician will suggest you for vaccine..u need to take 4 vaccine as per them 1.MMR 2.Tdap 3.Rubella 4.Influenza

That's all !!! ...Tdap vaccine was not available when i had medical (physician mentioned the same in my medical report as well) but its no way affected my interview.

Pls go thought the "Reviews : Embassy" tab above ,so that you will get an idea about interview questions/process etc..nothing to worry! Keep Calm!!!..
