Names on a Green Card, names on a Social Security Card

Just got my GC, i think that everything is correct, but ...

There is my full first name and an initial of my middle name on (front), same thing on the holographic image (back).

There are full names on the bottom of the card (back).

Is that correct? Is that normal?

My social security card has full names. Is the difference between those two documents a problem?

Mine is the same. They only seem to like to enter your middle initial onto your green card, as opposed to the full name.

Yes, that is normal. Everyone I know with a GC has it that way. You won't have a problem.

Mine was first name then initial of my second first name and completely ignored my real middle initial.The back has my complete name though.Never had an issue(so far)

First - there's a name on the passport.

Then there's a name in the visa foil.

With much luck and the blessings of Odin - these two names match.

When you come across at the POE, and hand over the visa packet that you hand carried,

a human in the backroom does some data entry work, inputting your name into the SAVE database system.

So, when / if you go in to apply for a SSN at a SSA office, a lookup in the SAVE database is done by A# or visa name. If you not go in, your SSN card arrive without applying in USA, then that name stored in the DS-260 is used.

So, come time to print the Green Card, they are supposed to use what's in the DS-260, which is supposed to match what's printed in the VISA foil, which is supposed to match what's in the passport.

Where do you think the anomolies occured?

I don't know what the officer put in the system, during the POE. I expect that he used my passport to enter data into the system. There are full names in my passport and visa. BTW: I have never used initials during the immigration process as well, because the leading identification document was my passport.

The fact is that my SSC arrived 10 days after POE with my middle name cut. I took my passport and went to the SSA office to fix this. The SSA officer corrected my middle name in the their system and my new SSC with full names arrived week later.

2 days ago my GC arrived with my middle name initial. They have my full names in the system if the envelope was addressed with my full names and there are full names on the bottom of the card.

Should i go to SSA with my GC to fix again their data or should I mail my GC back to the USCIS and ask to put my full middle name instead of initial? (nobody knows how long its gonna take)

Maybe I'm overreacting but I don't want to have any problems later, I have a conditional GC for now.

I'm effin tired of this!!!!!!!! I'm a control freak and my papers were perfect, never tried to use shortcuts, was patiently waiting for them to process everything, played this game strictly according to their rules. It caused so much stress.

And now I struggle with some bullshit again because all those offices play a different game. Why do I have to pay for this? I'm stressed again!!!!!!!!!!!
