How does USCIS mail out the card? Priority mail or regular mail. Does someone needs to sign for it or it can just be placed in the mail box? Do you get a tracking number? Thanks all for your input.

Looks like some of the January filers who had their cases transferred over to CSC got approved. Happy for them... but SMH!!!

Got the card on hand today! So happy and relieved :) Big thanks to this forum for helping me thru this long journey!!

Leomommy, how was your card sent by USCIS? Did it require signature? Did you get a tracking number. was it left at the door or put in your mailbox? Thanks for your reply.

It was sent through USPS and there was no tracking #. They just dropped it off in my mailbox so nothing special about it.

Is anyone considering requesting a case inquiry online or making an info pass at a local office? Has anyone done it yet?

im thinking about that. probably in few weeks...but also i was thinking like this, i was waiting 6 months ill wait 3 more and just apply for citizenship.

Day 11/14 Mailed AOS Package

Day 11/16 AOS Package Accepted

Day 11/20 Received Text with receipt numbers

Day 11/21 Checks cashed

Day 11/26 -Letter for Biometrix - its on 12/20

Day 12/20/ went to do biometrics, turn away as wife has a cut on thumb - will try to walk in next week

Day 12/28 - bio metrics done ! - walked in San Diego as we were visiting my in laws.

Day 1/4/2013 - received text/email that case is ready to be scheduled for interview !

Day 1/15/2013 - received hard copy letter to let us know interview is on 2/12 !

Day 1/17/2013 - received text/email that EAD has been approved

Day 1/26/2013 - received EAD card

Day 2/12 - interview done - approved on spot!

Congrats !!

Thanks.

I have been checking the website every minute and every second like a mad woman.

Now I can mentally relax a little and plan my travel back home. :)

Funny that it didn't change to show when it was approved.

It just went straight from "we received your application" to "card is being produced"

Weird.

Is it odd that it just went from "received application" to "card is being produced"?

It didn't reflect when it was approved. :unsure:
