Dear all, I have a question which is a little bit off topic and is about Russian Immigration Law.

I got my green card in February 2015 and I want to go to Moscow to see my parents, and according to the new law, I have to report my perm. residency to the immigration department there.

The problem is that the name on my green card is my married name and it doesn't match the name on my passport (my passport has my maiden name).

Has anybody here had the same situation? Did it pose any problems? How long did it take?

Please, share your experience!

New Card being produced today :dancing: , No interview needed.

We have the same filing date! Congrats!

05-18-2022: Filed N-400 online. Received online NOA and Biometrics re-use.

06-03-2022: Interview scheduled (online notice).

06-10-2022: Interview letter received via USPS.

07-11-2022: Naturalization Interview

We have the same filing date! Congrats!

Hi Sweetswinks - we have identical filing dates I remember that we were on track with the EAD. Just wanted to advised that last night I received 2 emails....1 email stating that my welcome letter has been mailed out. The 2nd email stating the my online status has been updated to green card in production.....

Hopefully you receive your's soon..

My medical was done mid August and my husband filed the paper work in October. I received no RFE in the whole process.

Mid August? Did you get a second one done? your timeline says Medical Exam 2/20/14

Yes a second one was done in August because the immigration doctor didn't want to sign off on my I-693. The doctor's office advised us that he had preform the physical and verify the vaccination so he can complete and sign -off on the medical form which was sent sealed with the I-485 package. (I should of added that in my timeline). The 2/20/14 medical one was done in Colombia before my K-1 visa was approved.

On 7/15/2015, we received emails from USCIS saying that: the Welcome Notice Was Mailed, permanent resident status was registered, a new card has been ordered and it should arrive within 60 days.
