I'm from Alberta.. Hmmmmm hope I can do both medical and interview in 1 trip. Otherwise it would cost me more paying for the flights, etc... Thanks for the infos!

Plenty of people do the medical in Montreal on the same trip, I think they are pretty fast at getting the results and packet together. Maybe ask them how many days in advance you need to book for, and search around for other peoples' experiences! It should all work out fine!

Well I got an email from Montreal finally. They want a new Canada police certificate but I got mine from my town police in September so it's only 2 months old. I wonder if they mean go get an rcmp version or something? Eh... They also want my husbands BC but I figured that from everyone else posting about it

So our AOS changed to "n/a" on Saturday Oct 25 and I called this AM to confirm and we have a CC as of October 25! Very exciting... So now just another waiting game for the interview. But I've started reading this thread now and it looks like it's much better to have the CC at the end of the month to make it for the next round of interview scheduling. Thanks for the info and the spreadsheet. I just wish there were more Chileans to be able to learn from!!!

Congratulations. Welcome to the group. Well end of the month CC just helps on the waiting. But usually to get in queue for the next months scheduling CC by 20th seems to be the thing. But its all dependent on slots available.

I'm from Saskatchewan so I'm doing the medical and interview in one trip. Medisys requires three business days to get you your results so I'll be staying a total of 6 days. For me it was cheaper to do that than pay for two flights.

Okay lets start predicting. With November being a few days short for Thanksgiving. I don;t think they will start scheduling next week. I think it will start maybe as early as Wednesday,

Hello so I got my case complete on the 14th of this month but the email of conforming the CC came on the 21st .

I contacted the embassy here in Amman and they said they don't have my papers yet (doing EP) . My question is how long does it usually for them to forward the papers and set a date for the interview ?

Do you mean by Oct 20th for November interviews or for December interviews? Sorry if that's a silly question, but I am still learning the whole interview process.

I was hoping that we would be able to make the late October/early November scheduling of December interviews. Does that seem reasonable? Hopefully that's the case and hopefully the low # of cases from Chile will help us.

Look at that you have your flag up. Pass the time. Start packing and giving away stuff. Google where you going to live polish up your resume. Check the market you should already have a list of networking folk you can hit up soon as you land. Where is the SS office and drivers license place.

The food markets in your city or town where are they so you can still get your favorite foods. Ohhhhh there is so much you can do.

Then there's always here on this thread chatter.

Unless you were approved for an expedite your casefile stays at NVC until they schedule your interview. Once you are scheduled than they will ship off your casefile. Hopefully end of this week scheduling may start.

November interviews are complete. I am talking of people in the queue now are waiting fro December dates.

Well of course October is out. And November is done. You would have to request an earlier date once you get your interview date. Unlikely to get only a few embassies accommodate earlier dates (UK is wonderful on that point).
