New I-129F Fee?

Hello,

me and my fiancé are preparing our I-129F Package at the moment,

and yesterday i stumbled on this website:

Which says, that there are new fees for some of the Nonimmigrant and Immigrant visas.

Further down the page it says this:

K – Fiancé(e) or Spouse of U.S. citizen category visa: $265.00

I just want to make sure, the fee for the I-129F is not $340.00 anymore, but $265.00 ?

The I-129F fee has not changed. It is still $340.

The K-1 visa fee, which used to be $240, has increased to $265. This visa fee is what you pay when you have your embassy interview for your actual visa.

The filing fee for the I-129F petition is $340 and you should always follow what the current fees for each form from the USCIS > http://www.uscis.gov/i-129f

$340. (There is no fee for petitions for K-3 status based on an immigrant petition filed by the same U.S. citizen.)

The visa processing fee required by the Dept. of State when applying for a visa is separate from the fees you pay for filing forms. The visa processing fee has gone up from $240 to $265.

on the USCIS website the fees still remains at 340 so your best bet would be to call and find out. http://www.uscis.gov/i-129f

The visa petition fee, payable to USCIS when you send in your initial I-129F petition is $340.
