Congratulation -vanesitaa,

I would like to give and update, my mother picked up her visa today as well as the package , I also paid the immigration fee which $165 I did not know that we still need to pay anything else, they told her to pay it before entering US or her green card will be delayed, so I paid it using elis website, mother will be here in 9 days :-)

Hi, i am juan on eb3. I know i am on wrong thread but i find your experiences on each personal cases as very informative. I'm new here, although i've read this whole thread already. And i learned that aos fee changing from paid/completed to n/a is a good sign. However, on my end, my employer is exempt from aos fee as what is written on ceac so i cannot track my progress with that.

Also, i learned that 50-60 days of processing is necessary for nvc to review received civil docs after submitting ds260. Is this what you mean by scan date?

Another question, is 60 days applicable to review submitted ds261 as well? Because the ff is my timeline:

June18, 2014 completed ds261

Aug7 incomplete ds261- opened out of curiosity

Sept1 resubmitted ds261- resubmitted by my processing officer

Sept2 no name on the applicant column

Sept4 invoiced and iv fee processed using online payment

Sept5 "paid" iv fee

Sept15 completed ds260

Sept18 civil docs received by nvc

Sept19 email of 60days process received from nvc

Thanks for this forum. It is a big help!

Hello Juandelcruz! Welcome to the thread.

To answer your questions, scan date is the date that NVC scans your barcode to reflect in their system that they received your documents and is in queue for Review which could take place around 60 days. And yes, this applies to DS261 as well.

Good luck!

Here is the link http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/194465-how-to-track-your-case-from-nvc-to-embassy/ about tracking case, but first you need to call NVC to ask when they sent out your case.

The appointment date all depends on your consulate's availability. Once they have an available appointment for you, you should receive an email.

Hi, j_d,

Thanks for your reply.

Congratulations on your case!

You mentioned on one of your replies that the interview sked depends on the embassy. Do you have any idea re manila because i saw on your timeline that you are from usem? Sorry if i looked like a stalker for reading your timeline.

Also if you/your beneficiary will be getting interview, please enlighten me re vaccines because i do not have complete vaccines. I believe vaccines with your private doctor is cheaper but when i called st. Luke's med clinic the operator told me that vaccines that will be given to me if ever their doctor says so are included in the payment of the medical exam itself amounting to more than php 11,000.

Thanks!

Ps. Sorry on the first reply.

How are you able to see this? I dont have any of those features in the CEAC website. is there something different you need to sign up for? how do you view that?
