Hey everyone,

My wife and I just sent in our I-130 forms and they have been received by the Chicago office.

My wife is returning to the states after living in Canada for three years and I am coming with her. We are staying in Canada until the everything is complete.

We have a home waiting for us in Chicago.

Let the long journey begin. Good luck to everyone. Lets hope that this process is relatively quick.

July 23/2014 - Received NOA1 via snail mail
Aug 25/2014 - USCIS approved Petition
Sept 2/2014 - Rec'vd copy of NOA2 - file sent to NVC

Oct 09/2014 - Rec'vd welcome letter from NVC with Case number.
Oct 10/2014 - Filled in DS-261 form
Oct 18/2014 - Paid AOS fees
Dec 24/2014 - Paid IV Fee

Feb 4/2015 - Emailed AOS and IV packages and now the waiting begins. (Scan Date)

Ours went to Vermont.

I wish I knew if it meant we had errors or not! I'm pretty anxious about ours missing something somewhere. We poured over it again and again, but who knows. There's no telling what silly thing may have slipped through the cracks once you start to go cross-eyed. :bonk:

No, it just means that they have accepted it & will be reviewed. RFEs, if any, are usually sent months later.

I remember when I received the email confirmation (NOA1) from USCIS that they received my packet I was in tears! LOL! Imagine when we finally get the NOA2!!!!
