I've signed up for Loomis to deliver my passport after the interview. When I sign in to this sight https://usvisa-info.com/en-ca/selfservice/login when my account summary comes up it says that I have not scheduled an appointment. Am I supposed to? I already have my interview appointment for June 25 in Montreal that NVC scheduled for me.

K-1's use the site to sign up for interviews. IR1/CR1's have the interviews scheduled for them, the site does not reflect that.

you have to email them... I wouldn't even bother with that. it's quicker to go pick it up unless it's really out of your way.

I had hell with them trying to deliever to my home address, I was really pissed with them in the end.

They say they will call in two business days, but they never did with me.. It was more like a week later

For Cr1 you simply pick get a new account and sign up for "courier services only" They won't have your interview on there.

And you HAVE to have the loomis print out to get into your montreal interview.

Thanks NLR that's what I printed out. The only thing that I don't like is the fact that I also have to travel 2.5 hours to pick up my passport. Too many road trips in one month LOL. Toronto for medical(5 hours one way), montreal for interview(10 hours one way), north bay for passport(2.5 hours one way). Good thing I like to drive.

They can deliver it to you....but that's a when the consulate emails you your waybill number you can email them back and say send it here. Extra fee!!! Loomis will then contact you about it, but there's a bit more liability in doing it that way, in case the package gets damaged or the do not open envelope gets it's seal busted in transit.

Yay! Got my confirmation page all done and printed out.

The drive for you is terrible xprecious, but I can't really even drive for both of my appointments as the Medical is a 12 hr one way trip to Surrey, and well, Montreal is just not going to be a drive lol... I have to fly and spend an arm and a leg to do these 2 appointments. I've got my Montreal trip booked so far, 2 nights/flight ~$1200 buckeroos.

I don't have the medical booked yet.

air canada should have hourly flights if the airport you're flying from is a decent size airport... and we found a pretty cheap room through hotwire, i think it was 150 for both nights and it was less then a 20 dollar cab right to the consulate, and a 10 dollar ride from the train station. i think the air port was near by as well

If you're flying to Montreal take the bus not a cab to the downtown hotels. Bus is $9/day and a cab is a flat rate of $40 and both take 45 mins. Most of the hotels are 2 blocks at most from this bus line.
