I already received an appointment letter from NVC and it has a list of documents to bring to the interview. One of these documents is the one mentioned in the topic title above. Does this refer to the DS261 and DS260 we filled out online?

I don't see anything listed in the immigrant instructions about "part 1 and part 2", but the DS-260 & DS-261 are required (bottom page 3 of instructions)

no, i was referring to the letter sent by NVC for the interview date and instructions that has the document list codes. But, maybe they meant DS260 as the immigrant visa application part 1 and 2.

Ah, that is what I thought, which is why I posted the link to the embassy instructions letter .. for what is required by the embassy FOLLOW the instructions letter. Get everything that is listed in that letter, even if you already sent it to NVC, the visa application is a new event/process.

So is there an answer to this? The items are clearly requested in the letter, do they mean just bring copies of the application that was already sent?

Embassy requirements vary from country to country, this is the Philippines forum, you may do better to ask your question in the U.K. forum

Hi Rissa92,

On feb 3.. :dancing: . Yeah, I think so, because the Immigrant Visa app form on US Embassy website http://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/Supplemental/MNL%20-%20Manila.pdf withthat PART I and PART II are for Cuban residence only ( DS 230) while that of DS260 was for IV Alien Regs App DS 260. the online application was screen shot.

I hope we're on the right track.

The embassy sent you email for this matter?

The instructions you are reading are referring to the old process which was the DS-230 which has a Part I and II. They now are requiring the DS-260 in the place of the DS-230.

Complete the DS-260 for your interview. Follow the instructions that HANK posted and you will not have any problems.

Follow the embassy instructions letter: http://photos.state.gov/libraries/manila/1178798/Instructions%20Packets/iv-interview-preparation-instructions-english-feb-2016.pdf

DS-260 is an electronic form, you print out the confirmation page upon completion, bring that confirmation page to the interview.

http://photos.state.gov/libraries/manila/1178798/Instructions%20Packets/iv-interview-preparation-instructions-english-feb-2016.pdf

The DS-261 is for address and agent information... NOT required.
