I haven't encountered that, ogbeifun. I would suggest changing the address, though if they've messed it up.

I do have something that is marginally good news to report. Got word today that my name was updated in the system. No approval, but a name update. I'm taking this as a good sign, that they ARE working on May filers actively and that double digit approvals are coming.

I would say they are working 'up to' May 16th. I'm May 12th, no approval yet, but definite evidence of stuff happening. I'd say for June folks give it another two or three weeks. It's taken them about three weeks to get May 1-10 pretty much done. *tired*

Double digits? But am May 8, don't seem Τ̣̣̥☺ understand why ♏♈̷̴̩ case is sooooooo messed up.

it's not messed up. Sometimes background checks take slightly longer depending on your country of origin. That's all. The single digits are mostly done, not totally done.

I was really sweating the RFE. I finally received the hard copy in the mail today and now I can breath a sigh of relief. I did not have my original birth certificate so years ago I ordered a new birth certificate from Austin, Tx. USCIS calls the birth certificate I used for my I-130 packet an Abstract Certification; an Abstract Certification is insufficient evidence for citizenship, so now I am copying all the pages of my passport to send in on Monday. I am hoping for a swift approval.

I have to say the guides here are perfect and if I would have followed them to the T, I would have my NOA 2 already.

Thanks All

My PD is May 28.

I contacted both of my senators and they did a congressional inquiry and they were told my case is in the 5 month limit they have.

This Tuesday is our 5 month...can i file an inquiry since its been 5 months and no response yet?

I have heard that they are on May 20th. So hoping for an approval in the next week or two.

I also filed an expedited processing, I was told I would receive a response in 5 days....nobody has contacted me. Cant I file for a service error because it has been longer than 5 days and they have to contact someone in 5 days for expedited processing requests?
