Here is a thought... The package I sent in with my I-130 to USCIS, that package was sent to the NVC correct?

and then the NVC sends your packet to the EMBASSY for interview.

Do you get ALL your documents back INCLUDING what you sent in to the USCIS?

Does Anyone in this forum know from past experience how that goes?

Im overthinking everything theses days.... cant wait until I can NOT think about this stuff.

sounds like my situation then. are you including a letter or something saying this is the only document that is offered from the officials in CR?

You can if you want. I just sent the barcode sheet, the checklist the birth cert and an explanation. The checklist also asked for a police certificate but I had that removed because it says all over their instructions that the police certificate is not required at the NVC. CR asks that you bring it to the interview.

Just send it ASAP unless you get a review and they decide to accept it before you can get the other certificate.

I sponsored my husband in 2009.. When he did his interview he got back all the originals only.. marriage certificate, birth certificate, etc..

I lived in Florida for 2 years (plus numerous visits before for Christmas) and although it was a bit weird not having snow on Christmas, I thoroughly enjoyed it as I looooove the sun and heat and beaches *miss Florida incredibly*

Come on down Saylin! I have an extra bedroom and a pool. Was in the pool today. I'm in Cape Coral. 25 min from Ft Myers beach or Sanibel Island. The weathers perfect right now. Bit hurricane season is about to start up. At least this year my hubby will be here to help me hang the shutters if need be. 2 yrs ago I hung them myself. What a pain! :)

Quick question for you VJ pros.. Just wondering how long has it been taking for AOS fee to show as paid? Paid it on Tuesday evening and it's still showing as "In Process"

Mine took 12 hours, 10 hours for the money to leave the account and another 2 to be reflected on CEAC.

For any Canadians (particularly in Montreal), I just got in my PCC application at 200 Rene Levesque (Complexe Guy-Favreau). $40 and they're even going to mail it directly to my husband in the US for no charge.. they also email you a digital copy the next day.

I got mine at the same place, extremely fast....not used to fast ..... :rofl::rofl:

I didn't think about it when I sent the new Birth Cert. I just didn't want to waste time if they decided it wasn't good enough. Turns out it is a good thing I sent it. They reviewed it 3 times and they won't accept it. And it is the original. I didn't want to play games. Every minute counts
