Translation of Documents

Hello,

I am French and at the NVC stage.

along with the AOS or IV packages, the US immigration services are requesting specific documents.

I have some questions for the French people here about some documents:

Birth certificate: France can issue a "translated certificated", called Multilanguage

--> did anyone ever tried to use this ?

http://vosdroits.service-public.fr/particuliers/F1374.xhtml#formulaire-contacts

for the other documents, as per Casier Judiciaire or Certificat de position militaire, did you have to go through a NOTARIZED (certified) translation ?

If yes, do you have addresses in the Paris or Versailles region ?

and finally, for the passport copies: do these copies absolutely have to be notarized ?

thanks a lot for your answers !

Hello- My husband is French and we are at the NVC stage also. Did you use a certified translator or just do it yourself? Can you let me know anything else that might be helpful in our situation or has been helpful in yours? Thanks !
