To me it looks like someone miss placed a file... the K2. Not to say there couldn't be an issue with the K2 application. Trying to get answers from the embassy is a lot like pulling teeth..

Only suggestion I can give is maybe contact your congressman and see if they can light a fire.

Waiting for email response is time wasted....I sometimes waited over 2 weeks and then my question was really no longer valid. I would definitely keep calling the embassy number for Visa's. If they tell you they cannot help, then ask if you can set a time to speak to the American person who interviewed Ruth. I had to speak to the one that interviewed my fiancée in order to get straight answers and get things moving again. Keep calling and be persistent (and polite) to speak to her interviewer. Nothing against the locals that work in the embassy but they are very limited to what they can tell you.

Calling your Senator or Congressman also can help....Mine help me through some issues and I had a K1, K2 and a CRBA just like you.

Thanks everyone for the advice. My congresswoman sent a inqury yesterday when I got in contact with her. I am in Manila. I was told that if I came to the Embassy they would not entertain me. I am thinking my last resort is if by close of business monday no answer then go to the US Embassy on Tuesday until someone talks to me. Does anyone think this might be a good idea?
