So many strange things occurred that we Westerners do not expect, but appear to be status quo in this region. Most perplexing are people using stolen passports and being allowed to pass, and also that the Malaysian airport and government hasn't a freaking clue where the plane went after it left the ground.

I wonder = Plane was jacked & the need to knows were instructed = keep quiet until we get where we want and are dug in or else....

Is that a possibility? or Is there a protocol which rules this out?

This is becoming more and more likely with each passing hour of not finding a shred of anything as to the plane's whereabouts. I don't think they know the meaning of the word 'protocol' in Malaysia.

Big plane, someone would have seen it and said something. I seriously doubt that plane is in tact somewhere.

Well...as article states.. "Malaysia's military believes it tracked a missing jetliner by radar over the Strait of Malacca, far from where it last made contact with civilian air traffic control off the country's east coast, a military source told Reuters."

I've flown MA a few times myself. Very by the book and efficient. My wife worked with them for about 5 years. The training they go through is intense to say the least.

I lived and worked in China for almost six years and learned a lot about what you see with your eyes does not demonstrate what happens behind closed doors. Most Asian countries are plagued with corruption that runs to the highest levels of government. They control what the people see and hear, and hide things that present them in an unfavorable way. There is some funny business going on here. I know there are a lot of Chinese who live in Malaysia, but I think most of them are Muslim? True?

My Chinese partner just sent me this link from China about an Australian girl who met both of the pilots from this plane. She said they were smoking in the cabin and behaving in a manner most of us would not consider to be professional. Will translate it next post.

So? How does that equate to a hijack and the plane being hidden somewhere?

Are you suggesting a large scale conspiracy to keep the plane's whereabouts quiet?

Just a wondering Teddy. Not a conviction. Nor a hunch. Just a what if...

How would you explain the discrepancy in Malaysia reporting for several days that the plane went north and disappeared? Now, they are changing their story that it may have gone south?

Certainly not with a conspiracy.

Could have been a case of bad information that was given to the public in the beginning. With the rush to get any information out these days without checking it's validity, most incidents are never reported correctly in the very early stages.

Not really. Many of the Chinese that live there aren't Muslim. I know this because most of Food shops run by Chinese people sell pork. Heck, I was in a DVD store when one of them was talking to me before my wedding. My fiancee came up and spoke, then went back shopping. The guy was like she's jaw dropping. I told him there are many beautiful Malay women here. He said I can't marry them, I'm Chinese, we have pork 3 times a day!

Corruption knows no religious affiliation.

Here is the photo of the Australian girls with the pilots from MH370. They both said after meeting and watching them that they didn't trust them.
