Hi everyone

So I have my interview soon and I'm to take my I130 with me to the interview...

So we're a bit confused on the household size.

It's my father who filed for I and my sixteen year old brother(I'm nineteen) so my brother filed i864w

Ps: we're in the ir2 category

PART 5 of the AOS

sponsor's house hold size:

Persons you are sponsoring on this affidavit

1. Enter the number you entered on line 7 of part 3

Well my father entered one

Persons not sponsored in this affidavit:

2.Yourself____

3.if you're currently married enter one for your spoise____

4.If you have dependent children enter the number here___..

Now my question is that is my father suppose to enter one on line four of part five(since my brother is a dependent child)??.. so therefore the total number on line 8 which asks to add together lines one to seven would be three..I.e I, my father and my brother ryt?? SOMEONE PLS HELP WITH A REPLY ASAP COS MY INTERVIEW IS SOOO CLOSE ALREADY.. TANX FOR UR HELP IN COMMENTS

Well I would think he is not sponsoring your brother since he has a waiver so brother falls under

Persons not sponsored in this affidavit: #2 and #4.

And I would also have attached coverletter at interview explaining that brother submitted I-864W.

Of course your brother will be there also with his information but still good to have.

make sure you have all your dads information you need Letter of employment, tax transcripts, last paystubs and proof of either LPR or USC.

I hope this helps. Had to read and re-read and think. idea9dv.gif

Does your father work the US? If so every time he gets payed he gets an accounting of where the hours he worked goes as far as money to him and taxes. That is the pay stub.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

The household count is 3 on the I-864 for you. You count you as the intending immigrant, your father as the petitioner/sponsor, and your brother because he a dependent of the sponsor.
