I am also a TSC transfer and approved on 21 March. I have heard it takes 2-3 weeks to get to NVC. Somebody suggested we start calling after a week to see if they have received it. What date were you approved?

I'm still waiting look at my signature. the lady at NVC told me it takes up to 8 weeks. What a load of ####### !!!

Just get it as close as you can....

I got that advice from an immigration lawyer. My husband had a similar issue as to how to find and identify his addresses so far back, especially in a more rural area. We were on google maps trying to track down street names / Rural Roads even just a postal code, anything! We did not have any problems on the DS-260. We just tried our best...

If it is not enough information or they want more detail, they will send you a checklist to let you know.

Thanks for your response! I just tried Googlemaps but had no luck. Even asked all the family members and no one had any idea. I figure it shouldn't be that big of a deal because they should be pretty tolerant that some people like in rural areas. Also, I think this question is meant to go with the police certificate since it asks about since the age of 16. It's probably more important to know if the applicant lived in other countries, and a case like my husband who was in the same city his whole life won't be a problem for them, even if the addresses aren't well defined. Here's to hoping we don't get a checklist!

We were approved at TSC on Jan 21, sent out on Jan 30, and received at NVC on Feb 6, if that helps you. I've learned that 8 weeks is their over-estimate to save their hinds if they make a big mistake :)

Hi everyone,

My NOA2 was approved on Feb 24th 2014, and NVC has confirmed they received my case on March 10th. I have been calling every week since then but they are not providing the Invoice numbers or anything. i am greencard holder , i sponsored my husband in pakistan , our priority date is 28th oct 2013 and my i130 got approved this month and nvc recived my case yesterday , how long do you think it will take my husband to get visa ...please help :crying:

you could keep calling but I don't think that helps lol!! Only couple people were lucky to get their case numbers assigned few days after.. and for most people it is taking close to 30 days. I think you should start gathering all the paperwork that is needed for DS-230 and AOS package

Guyz,Guyz.....My friends case was REQUESTED back to the USCIS.She is very devastated.What is happening???any cases like this?

From where she got her approval ?

NVC received my case on march 11th and now they do not have my case at NVC office.

I called Uscis and they don't have my case either.

I am trying my best to find out what's going on with my case.

I am thinking your case may have physically been mailed out on Monda. I would say 2 weeks from that atleast. Mine was approved March 7 (friday) and the hard copy was as of 3/10 and i assume that's when it was actually mailed out too. and as of 3/21, the nvc had nothing on their system but on 3/24 they said we received it on 3/19. So roughly 10-15 days. And i was told USCIS says 30 days, but we have to enter it into the system within 60 days. Now, i am being told 20-30 business days until it gets entered into the system. Hope it helps.

Mailed I-130 overnight-8/28/2013

Delivered to the USCIS PO Box Chicago 8/29/2013

NOA1 date-8/29/2013 Got as of 9/4/2013

Transfer Date : 2/24/2014

Transferred to Vermont

NOA2 3/7/2014

So as stated earlier, I have a lawyer. He never told me I will need a police clearance certificate for my wife during AOS or IV package. Mine were received on the 12 of march.

I haven't heard back from NVC yet, I have been reading on this thread people sending in PCC with the Packages. Will I get a checklist and my process will be delayed?

No friend.

You call tell NVC that you will carry Original PCC at interview consult office.

it's not required to send PCC with other packages.

You might fly through the NVC but the F2-A filers have to wait for a visa to become available. USC spouses have unlimited visas available. I have no idea how long the wait is for a visa to become available. Maybe another Greencard holder can chime in.

Tonight I received the false checklist Jim warned me was on the way last night. Is a false checklist any indication of when the review might actually take place? Anyone here who's received one for the IV packet, when did you get it approved? My optimism is getting the better of me and I'm wondering if having received the checklist is a sign that our form is actually ready for review. Someone bring me back down to earth please!
