after you case approved, did the NVC combined you wife and daughter cases and give you one case and IIN number or they give you case number for each,,,thanks

AOS shows paid for my wife (yay!) but it seems I still have to wait for my daughter's case to be "joined" to my wife's. Called NVC yesterday and they put the request, however, rep. could not tell me how long it would take for cases to be joined. Oy vey!

I am wondering if I should just go ahead and pay the AOS fee for my daughter's case just to keep the process moving??

how does one become a march nvc "filer"? is it enough our noa2 was issued in march or must nvc receive our case in march as well? I am just wondering if i should start hanging out here or wait for april.

NVC received my file on 3/12 and I called today and they confirmed that they haven't received it and talks about the same phrase ' wait 30 working days'.

I know i sound over optimistic but would have been great to get the NVC # around this time.

Goodness God how much i hate "wait 30 working days" BS...boils up my blood :@ :@

The NVC step takes about 2 months.

Less two weeks if you've got an attorney.

Interview scheduling can take up to 1 more month.

Grant of visa depends on the country/consulate in question.

They may put you into Administrative processing (not for everyone and no one knows why people get picked for this) - that will take another 1-8 months depending on your individual circumstances.

Re: Singapore COC ( Certificate of Clearance) for Non- Singaporeans

I have been reading their website and I found out this one. COC will be sent directly to the NVC.

Since we are doing EP, how am I gonna deal with this? NVC says that sending physical documents will delay the processing of our case.

Any suggestions or related experiences?

did you received an email from the NVC about the IV fee is ready to pay? how long for the fee to be available in the payment portal after that NVC mail?

I received email from nvc march 19 about 6:30am phil.time then about 10am i check the payment portal its already available to pay... but until now still waiting for my hubby to pay my iv bill:(

I got approved for my wife and daugher, since I have two cases (2 I-130s), do I get two case number from NVC and have to do everything twice (AOS, IV pachage) or they are going to combine them into one case (one case number) and I just have to send everything once..thanks

you'll get 2 case number also ask if these two cases are joined together. if they are you'll only pay $88 for AOS.

I'm getting worried about the Chrome vs IE thing. I didn't know we "have" to use IE and I paid using Chrome last night and it still hasn't showed up on my bank account statement.

i used chrome in paying AOS and IV. just a bad luck on my 3rd IV payment. an error occured,pop up message and noticed there's no transaction ID for that payment. i had to wait for almost 2 weeks to correct it.

hope yours had transaction id.

and sometimes it takes 2 days for them to cash out and sometimes more than a week to show "PAID"

I have a question. Can someone please help?

Some background:

The company that I work for, filed an L1-B visa for me in Dec 2012. The L1-B was rejected by USCIS due to the company's inability to prove that my skillset was unique enough to be considered for an L1-B visa.

Later my wife filed an I-130 petition for me in April 2013

My question:

In the DS-260 form, there's this question:

Have you ever been refused a U.S. visa, been refused admission to the U.S., or withdrawn your

application for admission at the port of entry?

Now my question is, what should I answer to the above question?

I'd really appreciate any help.

if they said they haven't received it, how do you know they got it 3/12??

Frank mistake from my end.. i meant they didnt have my NVC # yet..

On a side note,i have seen few folks actually get their NVC # in 8 to 10 days and so makes me think that the unexpected can happen too.
