Hi dwheels and everyone else - I apologize if I'm asking questions that have been answered long ago, but I'm antsy waiting for our interview date, and I'm wondering a couple of things:

- The column "received" in your chart is when we actually receive written notice of case complete, right?

- My VJ timeline has slots available for Sent from NVC, and Consulate Received. Would I get that info by calling NVC again to confirm that it's been shipped out? Or do any questions now go to the Consulate?

- I know it won't be until later this week that we start hearing interview dates for those of us that got case complete in the last 2 weeks or so - does that process happen through each individual consulate, or through NVC?

Again, sorry if I seem totally confused...

Hi everyone!!! Hi dweels76 :goofy: Just to let you know, I made this my blog even though I am employment based green card , but I am also going through consular processing. There aren't any blogs for consular processing that are employment based. I also made this my blog because I love this blog, everybody is so nice and friendly.

I have a question ... assuming that it is the same process for family than for employment based (which I think it is), my case was completed at NVC on February 21st. I haven't heard anything about my interview date and it has been over a month. What are the possibilities to have my interview scheduled this week? I know they begin scheduling this week right? My embassy is Guatemala, and I know is a busy one. Please let me know...I am so overwhelmed with the waiting. Thank you!!! (L)

Yes your embassy is a busy one. I remember when it took so many months. but they seem to be pretty fast. Now since you are a I-130 petition I would figure you would be right in line with the rest of them.

So I would say stay tuned and lets see if I guessed right on them starting Thursday or Friday (I feel something coming tomorrow though).

And thank you for the kind words. It is a happy place even though I know everyone is on high anxiety. But its great to celebrate together.

Do any of you know what the MRV receipt they are talking about? I just called the embassy about it and on their automated system it says that we have to bring the receipt at the time of the interview. I asked the operator and he gave me ####### information.

This does not apply to you. Its the receipt K1's and others going through the embassy paying get.

Stop calling the embassy you are being handled through NVC.

Just make sure you have your CFO all done and all that paperwork that is specific to your country.
