Hi...thought I was done worrying but I need some advice! My husband had his interview at the embassy and was approved! The day was very exciting as we plan for him to join me....the problem is that one of his police clearances will expire the day before he arrives!! Will that be a problem at the POE or are we fine because he was approved?? Really hoping for some positive feedback!!

Your police report only is about your interview has nothing to do with POE you are done with police reports. Nothing to worry about. Mercies journeys.

Hei vj friends! I need some advice/help. I'll be having my interview this coming April 03 in Manila Consulate.Upon our received email regarding my interview and submitted documents in Nvc,they didn't ask us for a new i-864.But upon checking the consulate review/forum the applicants we're asked to submit proof of finance ( i-864) during their interview. Another thing is me and my husband changed address and it's different from what we submitted in Nvc.

This is the main deal! I really have some confusions right now.Last year when we asked by the NVC to submit our Affidavit of Support i-864, we based the answer for question Part 6. no. 5 and 10 ( current individual annual income) from the 2012 Income tax report.But since i'll be having my interview this year 2014, where should i base my answer to the new i-864 to be shown in my interview? My husband already got his annual income tax return/report for the year 2013.Should it be 2012 or 2013? If 2013, so i will answer to Part 6 questions no. 13.a-c his annual income from year 2011-2013? Before it was 2010-2012 because we based our answer from his 2012 annual income.Please enlighten me.Thanks in advanced.

If he has done his 2013 takes then you need to have a new I-864 and 2013 tax transcript or tax forms for interview. It's best to be prepared everyone is saying April 15th well thats tax day for those who owes that has nothing to do with immigration some embassies hve been requesting 2013 tax returns since last month. Also new address update and print the DS-260 and give that over also at interview.

Another question guys. Is the interview date usually on the email you receive after case complete? The NVC phone rep told my wife that we would receive an email within 5 working days of case complete (which was yesterday) and this email will have our interview date. I'm confused as people say the get the interview date by calling.

Not necessarily. The case complete letter usually comes 7 days after your date. So you are 3/21 so expect in your email 3/28 or so the case complete. Not a big thing just tells you your case is complete and wait for interview.

Interview letter comes soon as it is scheduled. Your embassy is a busy one but usually there is room so hopefully you will get in for May.

He should bring a copy of his Marriage Certificate just in case? I have the original!

Or maybe they have the original, dont remember!

I dont think they gave him any documents back, maybe when he picks up everything on April 1st. But either way Ill make sure he carries either the original or a copy just in case! Thank you!!

Wow, you're timeline is almost identical to mine. Except we got a checklist which pegged us back by 3 weeks. We got case complete on Friday so we're hoping for an interview mid-May.
