Our batch hasn't had movement since May 23. They probably lost a few files.

When are you going to put in a case enquiry? Do you think you will be able to call them on Monday?

Good! Let's hope that brings some movement with your file today. There are more and more of us who are now beyond 4 months. Next week we reach 5 months. There has definitely been a slowdown at Nebraska.

My husband called today and was told to wait 48 days before expecting anything. He can call again to do an enquiry in 48 days if nothing happened by then. They said that they have a lot of backlog.

That's interesting they told you they are backlogged. I know a March filer in Nebraska that was approved this weekend.

I also saw that approval. However, this was their second time through USCIS because they previously applied for a K-1 and got all the way to interview stage. So they were already on the database at USCIS which may explain the speedy approval.

As of this morning, there were 244 unapproved petitions that were filed on February 8 (my date). I have seen one of them be approved today (the one directly in front of mine).

Bn&Dw - I'm so sorry to hear this news. I was hoping for a positive outcome to the call. This sounds almost hopeless.

I don't know if that's true, but if it is I am okay with that. Our K1 was also denied so this is our second visa petition.

Come on Nebraska speed it up... some April cases at Texas SC have been approved alreasy.... please hurry

I agree! It's been quiet on here lately :( not sure wether that's good or bad.. :/. Either way, with more recent attacks it would sure feel better being in the same country as my husband, but alas I'm left to overthink and wait! America is so smug, I would have expated in a heartbeat if I didn't have a son here.. Hopefully some of you get good news before the holiday :)
