Thought of starting a thread here for those transferred to NSC and are waiting for approval.

my pd is 07-11

transfer date- 01-03

still no news for noa2

05-18 Got Married in Mumbai, India



07-11 Mailed i-130 petition


07-17 Received Form I-797C. MSC#


01-03 Case transferred to NSC


03-11 I-130 approved



Total time in USCIS: 8.0 months



03-17 Case recieved at NVC


04-24 Filled out DS 261


05-11 Mailed AOS package


05-17 Mailed IV package


05-19 AOS "scanned" date


05-23 IV package "scanned" date


06-18 Received checklist on AOS


06-19 Mailed checklist response


06-25 IV docs accepted. False checklist on AOS


06-26 new AOS scan date.

Our dates are very similar, from a person who got approved from NSC little while ago, his wait was 40 days.

Our dates are very similar, from a person who got approved from NSC little while ago, his wait was 40 days.

do you know if they were an expatiated petition?

I see that you had applied for naturalization, is that right? I'm talking about i-130 for spouses that are transferred to NSC.

do you have a link that person getting approved in 40 days from NSC?

That person didn't say it was expatiated petition, but I assume not. I am applying for i-130 at this point, I already got naturalized last year.

do you know if they were an expatiated petition?

I see that you had applied for naturalization, is that right? I'm talking about i-130 for spouses that are transferred to NSC.

Today I'm 38 days after after my transfer. I really really hope they don't take more than 60 days and that hopefully we all get approvals soon.

lets keep this thread alive because we sail in the same boat and will kinda get an idea where we stand.

Actually you should count the days from when NSC received the petition. Since we both got transferred on the same day, I assume your petition were delivered at the 7th.

is that right? I didn't know to start counting from the date it was received.

Yes it was delivered on the jan 7, so i guess we both will not hit the 60 day mark until march 7. lets see what happens!

Hi. I actually have 2 petitions going on at the same time. The one for my hubby has a priority date of 5/8/13, we received a transfer notice to Nebraska Service

Center on 12/6/13 and we haven't heard anything since.

The USCIC processing dates haven't been updated since November. Supposedly they get updated every 15th of the month.

I would THINK that if there was going to be an RFE in the case, I should have heard something by now?

Has anyone received NOA2 after priority date of 5/8/13, where case was transferred to Nebraska Service Center?

Not necessarily about the RFE. Until you case is pulled out the box, off the shelf that's when they get adjudicated and either approved or a RFE issued. That's why you see people sitting here for months and like 6,6,7,8,9 months later an RFE. But RFE also means they are looking at your case and and need something from you to approve.

So like good news bad news.

Now I been reading NSC is super slow and like no one is there (I am sure there's someone). So hopefully we will see approvals soon for you all. It's about time don't you think.
