G'luck to you as well CjBryan, and all other filers.. We sent our I-129F yesterday. The package is scheduled to arrive Thursday 2/6/14 .. Now the waiting and nail biting begins..

We hope everyone fills out their timelines to keep track of the progress..

We filled ours out on Monday and sent it--looks to be getting in this Friday, Feb 7th. I'm already worried I made mistakes....but here's to a smooth ride, people! Good luck to you and your abroad loved ones :) <3

PS Anyone else getting ready for a visit from your fiance to the US? Any word on clearing customs/entry problems as I-129F filers--particularly in Chicago? The forums here all say it's fine, if a little intense sometimes, but I was just wondering :)

Congrats CjBryan :) hope everything goes ok

I am planning on going to see my fiancé in England in May. I don't think you should encounter any issues at customs as long as you tell them that it is just a visit.

Since starting our petition in early January, I've visited my Fiance twice. We don't live too far (3 hours) from one another so we plan to visit often. I just make sure that I have enough evidence that I will be coming back. I have a mortgage, so I show them a recent statement with my name on the title and my automatic withdrawals for my mortgage. I also show them any other travel I may have (I travel for business and always fly out of my city) so it shows that I need to be physically back in my city. If you have a landlord, you can ask them to write a letter stating that you are still renting and have paid up to date and have not given notice.

As long as you show that you have ties to your own Country and can show you will be returning when you say you are, you should be fine.

I am to late to be Jan filer and to early to be Feb filer..it is kind of hybrid based on my timeline.... so I demand my file be opened before all Feb filers kicking.gif so I belong to Feb 2014 filers...rolleyes.gif

Wow CJBryan THAT was fast! I sent it via Fed Ex on Feb 7 and they should get it Monday afternoon so I'm hoping to hear something by wed/thurs since I attached the G-1145. I heard the standard notice was one week but I'm praying praying praying this goes smoothly because our baby is already 6 months but it took me forever to get everything together from over the last 3 years! Totally stressed out!

Thanks SoyDeEl :) i'm sure you'll heard something as soon as they get your Paperwork, everything is going to be alright. Our Payment check also was cashed last Saturday i'm still nervous idk what to expect next.. We both new to this whole process thing it took us 7 months, praying for us all be be approved without rfe :)

Congratulations! Now to start the dreaded NOA2 wait!

16 January 2014: I-129F Application sent!

3rd February 2014: NOA1

10th February 2014: NOA1 Hardcopy received

NOA2: (File accidentally sent to NVC without approval, NOA2 actually received 5th May 2014)

12th March 2014: File sent to NVC (without approval)

26th March 2014: NVC Sent petition to London!

28th March 2014: Received in London

3rd April 2014: Packet 3

24th April 2014: Medical

27th May 2014: Interview!

4th June 2014: VISA ISSUED!

24th August 2014: POE

I sent ours in on Feb 1st, got an email that it'd been recieved on the 7th, and my check was also cashed that day. I haven't gotten anything about an alien registration number being changed. I want this done now. ;)

He'll be here for 2 weeks over spring break in April. I'll be going to Ireland over the summer. CAN'T WAIT! :D I would have never thought that he should bring anything to support the fact that he'll be flying back to Dubin at the end of April. This site is so amazingly helpful!
