Total income or Adjusted gross income?

I am trying to fill up the I 864 again right now and its really confusing. NVC already denied it cause I put wrong number.

So here I am need help from you guys.

I have 1040 and I am self employed. So should I put total income or adjusted gross income ?\

For everyone else, total.
