Hi, I stopped by the JAG the other day and asked if there ways to prevent "murder board" style for the K-1 visa interview. My fiancée's country is Vietnam, a high risk country for marriage fraud, so interview is known to be hard even for those who have genuine relationships. So a staff member told me there is a different pipeline for those who are in the service, can any of you chime in? My appointment with the USCIS guys at JAG got cancelled today since they gave me a wrong time, but I still want to get a heads up before the next appt. Thanks.

Yes I am still going through with this process. Maybe some of you have filed twice or 3 times to find the right person, this is going to be my first and last. I don't care if I get flamed by you guys or provide me the ugly side of it all like DreamNHope had put it, but hear me out. Since last time I've posted in Vietnam forum, my fiancé's Minnesota cousin threw in the towel on the last day of the year and said his wife is divorcing him so he can't help my fiancé anymore. I realized all along I should have hired a lawyer, be it Marc Ellis or whoever. On my fiancé's end, she placed too much trust in her relatives which led to this point. It took a ton of asschewing over the e-mail to get her to accept the reality that no else Is there for her. She finally submitted packet 3 on our 2 year anniversary. No, my fiancée is not a streetwalker or internet café girl trying to gain a free check over the mail, this I am 100% sure, I met her family from both sides in person and at our engagement party. I just want to get her to the interview and if she passes then it's all good, if not, then I will have a clear conscience knowing that I have fulfilled my end of the bargain and let the blame and burden fall where it should because I swear I will not want to explain anymore of this K-1 business to friends and families come X-mas. Anyways, tomorrow is my appointment with the Jag, so if there really is another pipeline which guarantees passage of interview then it's all dandy.
