On December 30, 2013, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

What do they mean by the above paragarphs? when will be our case be going to the NVC?

so, refactor your plan after both casefiles arrive at NVC.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

You do not have a k3 visa until after an interview.... you are trying for the k3 path. As darnell has stated, things may change when you get to the NVC. Keep us updated! :)

ya, it's kinda cool, aye?

Both were approved on same day and are packaged together and sent out to NVC, together.

Since there's no further basis to pursue a K-3 visa, an unapproved I-130, expect NVC to administratively close the I-129F.

But hey - keep us informed with what actually transpires on the I-129F, aye?

and, Double Hey ! (Hey, Hey ! ) Since yer back at VJ asking pertinent questions, please , purty please with rhoti prahta on it, make the time to update yer timeline,

The NOA2 for an I-129F has a time frame in which you would have to get your NVC number and make it to the consulate/embassy to schedule and interview for the k3.

Darnell, I need a guidance, I have not yet called the NVC for the case number and inn. Just wanted to ask whether the beneficiary can call the NVC and ask for the case number or it is just The US citizen the petitioner that has to call the NVC?

Both the beneficiary and petitioner can call the NVC. My husband, the USC, did not call them a single time. I dealt with all the NVC paperwork. He also never called the USCIS either for that matter, but thay was because we were appproved within his personal set timeframe. Lol

I am hesitant to weigh in again, as you not update your timeline.
