Hey I received an email about the RFE the 22nd... but I cant wait to get the letter on the mail!! I feel the same as you!!!! I'm worry if they need more evidence of our relationship, we have pics... but don't have calls, we use voxer and FaceTime every day during the whole day, but you cant save a a register of those messages!!

Best luck for you!! I'm super nervous, anxious, frustrated... have all kind of emotions!!

Thank you likewise! We have viber text messaging and Skype. If you pay 5 $ with skype every month you have unlimited calls to the USA mobile phones from skype only :D

I know, FaceTime is the same, but no records, only last month history.

And Voxer is great for text and voice messages, the only thing is u can't get the history of the calls, I could make snapshots from the cell but can u imagine 7 months... More than 50 voice and text daily.... :(

Can an RFE be unresolvable or lead to a denial?

I just got the notice for an RFE today. But i have no clue what it is yet. . .

Don't worry! It can't be that bad! It can by anything: a missing signature, wrong size passport photos, missing letter(s) of intent, anything! We got RFE because my fiance forgot to check one box on I129F petition! A petty thing. Soon you'll learn what it is. Just pray for an easy fix ;)

No and no. It happened to many others (including ourselves). It's just un update on your account. No double RFE ;)

What else do you think they'd want? Recent proofs are very desirable, because they show your ongoing relationship. But RFE can be anything, not only more evidence.

when I check my status last April 18 we got RFE then I check again last April 24 they send another one. I think its an error. we are still waiting for the hard copy of our RFE.

The thing is, on the 18th they updated your case (RFE) and the papers probably went to mail room; on the 24th they actually mailed it to you. So by the end of next week you should find hard copy in your mail box. You'll be fine, don't worry :)

As you all are already aware, our case received an RFE on 4-23-13.

The letter came in the mail today.

The RFE says there is an omitted item on question 3 in part C:

"If you have provided information about a conviction for a crime listed above and you were being battered or subjected to extreme cruelty by your spouse, parent, or adult child at the time of your conviction, check all of the following that apply to you:

___ I was acting in self-defense.

___ I violated a protection order issued for my own protection.

___ I committed, was arrested for, was convicted of, or plead guilty to committing a crime that did not result in serious bodily injury, and there was a connection between the crime committed and my having been battered or subjected to extreme cruelty."

Obviously, none of these apply to me, and they only had boxes available to check in.

I did not check any of the boxes. The RFE was that I should have written N/A even though it wasn't an option and there was no space to write it!

Sent it back today with N/A just written after the question. Hopefully it will be resolved soon!

Thanks everybody for your help!

my question is: After I corrected and sent this back, can they give additional RFEs? Or is there only the possibility for one?

They send us the same thing. I hear that for the first time now. Says nothing in the forum like this. Could this be because my fiancé didnt fill in properly?

Also should I send more photos now or tickets now for more proof just in case because when when filled the petition we where together 2 months?

A question : If the RFE requires more evidence like photos or tickets or chat logs, can we send recent? Because after the NOA1 we made 3 more trips and have 200 more photos and a whole bunch of other stuff.

I was under the impression that you could ONLY provide proof of relationship evidence in the 2 years PRIOR to having filed. So anything from AFTER your I-129F filing date is inadmissible.

Perhaps someone with experience can confirm or deny this?

Why inadmissible? Filing for I-129F requires to have met at least one time within 2 years prior to submitting the petition. That's one thing. But then, if they ask for more evidence of relationship it's highly desirable to show the ongoing relationship by attaching proofs of recent trips, letters, emails, etc. Besides, RFE letter expains exactly what they want from you :)
