Hey all,

We sent our application in this time last week but still no NOA. Looking at the timeline for others looks like it can be anywhere up to 10 days to receive word back! Plus it doesn't help with the Thanksgiving holiday smile.png

[October 3rd] - Docs delivered to Embassy

[October 10th] - London Approves and Issues our Visa!!

[October 16th 2013] 4.00pm - Visa in my hand, 11pm POE -Newark

Congrats on the marriage!! I found this paperwork a breeze compared to the k1! We still dragged our heels though, the affidavit was the most work! Like 9 pages? Crazy!

We got here Sept., Well, moving to a new place is not easy...,not to mention changing address is confusing, when everything was settled in our new home , we got married Nov., just when we' re ready for AOS something bad happen in my hometown in the Philippines and the devastating situation made me unfocused for a while.,and had to help first as much as we could. Everything is better so far. and now I'm ready with this paperworks, and get all this rolling.

Can't wait to share and hear updates on this thread..hopefully we can submit next week, well, it's almost done, yay... Good luck!

We mailed the application November 25th, received email/sms notification December 1st, just got NOA in the mail box today. Hopefully everything will be all right. Good luck to all of us.

So it had been almost two weeks and no NOA....we checked our mail yesterday and we had a huge package from Chicago...we were like what the? Opened it immediately to find they had returned our parcel with a rejection notice because I forgot to fill out the I-485....can you believe it?! They also said the check was for the wrong amount but we made it out for $1070...isn't that right?

Im wondering if they are saying the check is wrong because there was no I-485 it looked like we were just applying for EAD and AP....idk...I filled it out and we sent it back an hour after we got the mail. The rejection notice said if we put that on top of our papers they will try to expedite it - not a great deal I imagine but just so we aren't two weeks behind

Welcome to hurry up and wait part 2 :-)

Please enjoy reading through the Sept, Oct, and Nov threads while you wait.

Count on 60 days for EAD, no updates on the AP petition until the EAD combo card is received, and enjoy the black hole of Testing and Interview if that update comes across your i485 USCIS status page.

I hope everyone is processed quickly but remember... No whining for 60 days and no whining after your EAD/AP card is received. Just smile and think back to when you were seperated from you loved one.

Lastly, the USPS sucks and 2 day delivery is not a guarantee. :-)

hi everyone, we mailed ours last Monday, Dec.2 , until now we haven't gotten any notication thru email or text if it was already received.Though, I tracked our packet through USPS it says it was delivered and received Dec 5. I wonder how long will it usually take for them to acknowledge they got our AOS packet.:)

Filed in April and still waiting.

Wow...does it take such a long time? We filed our I-129F in April, and now AOS NOA1 date is December, 5. They haven't contacted you ever since?

Depends on the local office. Did recieve a letter back in August congradulating us because we were being considered one of the non-interview required cases and to contact then in 6 months if we don't hear anything. That would be February.

Fact is they just dumped a bunch of Syrian and other refugees here and they get to cut in line and get to skip all the fees etc...
