Hi everyone! A number of questions--again blush.png

  1. To show evidence of a bonafide relationship, will the consulate require photocopies and/or extra copies of secondary evidences such as (a) MONEY TRANSFER/REMITTANCE RECEIPTS and (b) FAMILY PHOTOS?
  2. Will print outs, of cut-and-pasted/ screen shots of skype, viber, tango, and emails, do? Does it have to be certified or notarized by a lawyer or something?

Got a list here (link below) but it doesn't say if copies are needed or having the originals alone would do.

Thanking you all again, in advance, for your valued advice! xxx

If you want something back, be sure to bring a second copy. They will want to see the original and keep a copy. If you don't need something back, don't worry about providing a second copy.

For secondary evidence (screenshots, logs, emails) there's no point in certifying / notarizing. I'm not sure it's even possible.

Take some time to talk to people who have interviewed at your embassy. It's different everywhere, and embassy-specific info is invaluable.

Bonjour teach706 et Merci beaucoup monsieur, mon ami! This info you gave me is vital. Really appreciate your response! Sometimes it is just common sense, really. Hahaha! But, I am not sure my common sense is working right. Hahaha!rolleyes.gif I am relieved to realize that someone just confirmed what I was thinking.

Off to another thread--on embassy specific forums as you advised. Au revoir!

Hellllloooooo January 2014 people!!! I am back! Please don't tire of me...luv.gif That's why I love all you guys for being so helpful everytime. Recently i have had difficulty making up my mind--must be too excited for my interview.

I have 7 years of money transfer receipts, social media logs, etc--that I have on file to show evidence of a bona fide relationship. How far back should I bring with me for my interview?

I have been thinking to bring all these with me...except I must look like a roving caravan having to take these all with me to the interview. hahaha! Now I am laughing at myself! But seriously? how far back should i have with me?

(Hahaha! I started rolling into laughter all over again with the idea--call me crazy! LOL) Your advice will truly help me keep my sanity...

One thing I know of this process is it will make us all nuts . Common sense ha. When I came to Visajourney June of 2011 I knew nothing. I thought my man gets a stamp in passport to visit me. NOPE!

Than I go get married and thought he is my husband he gets to travel with me right. NOT. Like I am an America what the heck. hehe

High fraud whats that. When I first saw these pages bahing Nigeria I thought OMG. Than I read and researched and read.

There are many phases as you all have witnessed.

1. You wait for NOA2 so excited Even if you prepped and read all about NVC suddenly you have forgotten your own name.

2. You are at NVC and you now know the entire wait message (I miss that voice...hehe). It seems endless. than...............

3. Case Complete OMG you want to run and kiss somebody you are euphoric.

4. Interview date assigned. That P4 is like a golden ticket. Now all the emotions come. And your brain plays with you. Denied what id we are denied. OMG do I bring everything to interview. What will he/she wear does it matter.

Oh the thrill of it all. goofy.gif

Have all your stuff in nive folders with tabs for easy findings. I am sure you won't be asked for a thing. Only offer up the money receipts if asked. I am assuming you are the USC/Man and you sent money so CO wouldn't look at it weird. We in Nigeria wouldn't dare show anything whether man or women.

How about if we already send those things to NVC .. Still we need to gather more evidence to the interview.. Or just take all those again which was already sended to NVC .
