I don't know Indiana at all, but immigration law is federal low- you could get a lawyer at the other end of the country and confer with him over email. Skype.

What did you actually forget to send in the two times?

It appears to me that you may just have an error where household member counts are concerned:

In Part 3, Information on the Immigrant(s) You are sponsoring, please correct the following...

Item 7. The total number of immigrants listed in Item 7 must equal the number of immigrants listed in Part 3, Items
1 through 6.f.

In addition, you must also verify that the total number of immigrants listed in Item 7 matches the
number you entered in Part 5 Item1.

And did you include all 9 pages, as that's also required even if you didn't put any information on page 9.

Good luck at the interview!

Hi I received the same email last September 10, 2014, my problem is whether to submit the corrected i-864 form to the NVC or just wait for an interview schedule and bring the i-864 during the interview.

I am confused because in the first few pages it says print the new completed form of i-864 and mail it to NVC. At the same time I have read something like this: The NVC recently completed our review of your visa case. While you meet the minimum qualifications for a visa interview to be scheduled your Affidavit of Support contained one or more sections with missing or incorrect information. Please review the additional instructions below then complete a new Affidavit of Support. (You can download the I-864 form and instructions at http://www.uscis.gov/i-864.) Once you have completed the new Affidavit of Support, please provide it to the principal applicant to bring to his or her visa interview. Do not submit your new Affidavit of Support to the NVC, as doing so will reopen your case and cause processing delays.

I may have errors on my I 864 and am wondering what the chances are of being able to bring a corrected 1 864 to the interview versus having to re-send one to NVC and reset my scan date ?Does anyone know why some people have to re-send and some have to take it to the interview ?

I got the same email, I don't know which one to follow either to send the updated form or to wait for my interview appointment & just present the updated form during the interview.

I don't want to prolong the process & waiting time if i send the updated form to NVC whilst I don't want to wait for nothing.

Can someone please enlighten what does NVC letter of checklist really mean? Which instruction of NVC shall we follow?
