No slot for interview! :(

Hi everyone,

I paid for my Visa interview this morning & was able to confirm my receipt. Unfortunately when I tried to book an interview appointment (I am on the calendar page), it says there are no appointments available! I called US Embassy & they told me to wait for K1 visa interview slots! Is there an advisable time when should I go online to book? Thank you so much!

No advisable time. But keep monitoring the calendar/website for slots that might open up. There will always be some people that need to reschedule etc.

That was fast! I was able to book yesterday 8 pm CST -10am Phil time for Dec 6. That time there were 3 available slots for Nov and 3 for Dec but none for january. Keep checking and goodluck!

Unfortunately my payment was confirmed past 4pm this afternoon, I tried to book, there was one for Dec24 then when I clicked that it was already unavailable..

yeah the slots filled up really fast. I was able to reschedule my interview to Dec. 6 just this afternoon (Phil. time) and I saw slots available for Nov. 19, 20, 21; Dec. 6 and 24

However, as of tonight there are no more slots left.

Do they release slots everyday or they just do this at random times? I just reached the limit for viewing the calendar page too many times & cant view it again till tmrw..

However, even though we paid for the interview, entered the receipt number, when we came to the end of the process online it said:

"There are currently no appointments available."

then it said after I tried several times:

"You have exceeded the limit for viewing this page and your limit will be reset as of tomorrow."

Now what do we do?

How long before this is reset so I can try again? Has anyone else encountered this?

Many have encountered "exceeding the limit" . You could try clearing the cache in your web browser see if that helps.

Clearing cache does not help. So not sure if it is IP based or they just base it on your login info and know how many times your account has accessed the page in a given time period.

Well it was just a thought, thought they were putting a cookie in your computer to time/date your log-ins

As of 3 AM Nov. 13th (Philippine time), still no available schedules.

Don't know what to do. The system keeps saying:

"You have exceeded the limit for viewing this page and your limit will be reset as of tomorrow."

when is tomorrow? 24 hours after attempt? After midnight? Is this based in US time or Philippines time?

a lot of people say its random. some only waited 4 hours, some had to wait a full day for it to reset. your next option is to just keep calling the embassy and ask them to check for available slots for you. however, I was told they use the same system that we use to schedule online. so not sure how much help they can be.

I am feeling worried about not being able to book an interview..my K1 petition is valid only until Dec.28 I am hoping that us embassy opens up slots soon!
