Ya, your file will probably be sent to Jakarta. If you don't want to be interviewed in Jakarta, I don't think you should put any address in Indonesia.

Not sure if you can call NVC and have them switch to phillipines

oh, probably just talked to a NVC TeleOperator,

and not a supervisor.

Suggest the petitioner talk to a supervisor,

and get this sorted at NVC.

IF THE CASEFILE IS STILL AT NVC, it can be rehomed to Manila.

However, must to talk with supervisor, explain the problem.

If the casefile has left already, it's gets messier, but

make the phone call, get a supervisor, report back here.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Yes, it is for US Embassy in Jakarta. Mine also starts with JAK. Please, ask your fiance to check a copy of your I-129F again almost at bottom of page and there is a box for " which consulate your fiance will aply for visa".

If your fiance clearly mentioned about you're going to apply K-1 visa in Manila then go check your NOA-2 hardcopy (I-797). There is a information there if you would like to forward your case to a different consulate. I guess you can try file I-824. Or you can try send an email to US Embassy in Jakarta, explain your situation, and I hope they will understand. Good luck!

I guess, after NVC assigned you a case number, they can't do anything for you because now your case is forwarded to the consulate. You have to deal with them. So better try to contact US Embassy in Jakarta. Here the information on NOA-2

Your NOA-2 date is 2013-09-27

so, have the PETITIONER CALL NOW, into NVC (they close at 23:59 EST)

get a supervisor,

find out if the casefile is still with NVC.

If it is, ask the supervisor to rehome it to MNL.

If it's not at NVC, well, report back, and I'll write more.

NO, not necessarily. It depends on where the casefile is. Just because NVC issued a casefile #, does NOT mean it's left NVC yet.
