My husband got approved this morning!!! don't know the details as yet but, I will update the review section as soon as possible....Thank you dweels, salin, darlin and every one that has been there with us for the past 18 months!!!! best immigration lawyers ever! for those of you still waiting keep the faith your time will come.

I am little confused with what to do here in my situation. I applied for my wife visa under her passport with her father's name and last name but when I went to get PCC done at Ahmedabad Passport Office they required to change middle and last name to be husband's name so we did that and got new passport.

Now, I am trying to sign up for Document Delivery Address on ustraveldocs website where they ask for passport number, first name, last name etc. I am not sure which information to enter there. Should I sign up with old passport information(which is used to apply for her visa process) or new passport information?

Please let me know if someone have answer to this...

Hi, I just got Package 4 - Via email and got the Interview date to be 15th November 2013,

Does anyone know how can I get it postponed to somewhere in December. My reasoning being, I am travelling outside of Canada due to work and will not be able to come back before 11th Nov. Therefore I am not able to get appointment with a Doctor for Medicals in Ontario.

Just email embassy after u casefile arrives. Be sure to put in subject line ur case#, full name of beneficary and title like: reschedule interview.

In the body ask for December and they should let u know quick. I know Lagos u get new date with 48 hrs.

We found out on October 2nd that our interview will be on November 25th. One day before we were granted expedite status by the Tokyo embassy. However, I was just told by an NVC supervisor that because we were assigned a date already the NVC won't ship out our case file immediately and that it will go out with all the others that were assigned this month. So my question is when will the NVC ship out all our case files to the embassies and once it gets there will I be able to move up our my wife's interview because we were granted an expedite? The email we received from the embassy said they would call us to schedule an interview, but now since we got assigned a date already does that override the expedite request?

It will probably go out today. Call monday than you can start tracking. It will be there next week and yest than you can talk directly with embassy and try and change dates and all that.

If you need assistance tracking let me know I can show you how to do the DHL thing.

Congratulations anyway though on getting an interview date. Almost there dear.
