Concurrent filing - One check or 2 separate checks?

Hi,

I am almost done with collecting all the paperwork necessary. Was wondering if I need to submit 2 separate checks or 1 check for $1490 will do? I am a GC holder and filing for my spouse who is on F-1 with an approved H-1 petition.

One check is fine. Or two.

Doesn't really matter. If on the off chance that your I-130 is okay but your I-485 cannot be accepted for initial review, and you have one check, they will send the whole package back to you. If you have two checks they can start the I-130 and wait for the I-485. But, since the I-130 goes along with the timeline of the I-485 in this instance, it doesn't really matter.
