Hi,

I know there are a few threads where people are asking about how long they will need to wait to have forms logged, interview date set, etc. so I thought I'd start a thread where those who are waiting now can compare notes?

I sent my DS forms off on August 31st and had a CEAC update on 6th September. I'm going to assume that was the Embassy logging my forms as my medical was done back in May and I can't think what else it might have been.

So we are one week and waiting! I have three kids - one follow to join, the others travelling with me - so we are hoping for the half-term holiday (end Oct). I did day in my covering letter that I would be available for short notice appts, so fingers crossed we hear something soon.

We filed back in Sept 2012 so its been a loooong time coming!

Who else is waiting?

From what I've read on the forum, the CEAC updates really don't seem to add up to much. It seems as though some people get their interview dates with no CEAC updates and others have CEAC updates with

Been waiting since August 15th! That's when all forms had been received by the embassy and the medical had also been completed! Hopefully we all hear something soon...

Met in 2006 through a pen pal website for school-aged kids when we were 15!
Kept in touch a bit for 4.5 years
02-2011 -Started talking about how to make a relationship work
06-06-2011- Met in Chicago and became a couple, finally!
07-18-2011- I flew back with him to England to meet his family
11-23-2011- He stays with my family and me for three months!
05-16-2012- I flew to England to be with him for a month.
07-15-2012- He flies back to me for another 3 months
12-17-2012- I fly over to England to be with him for 5 months
04-05-2013- We took a trip to Rome, and he asks me to marry him in St. Peter's Square!!!
04-25-2013- I-129F Sent to Dallas Lockbox
05-09-2013- He comes back to visit me for nearly 2 months
07-03-2013- I go back ONE last time, while our I-129F is processing
07-17-2013- Our petition is approved only 79 days later!! kicking.gif

[October 10th] - London Approves and Issues our Visa!!

[October 16th 2013] 4.00pm - Visa in my hand, 11pm POE -Newark

My forms and header were signed for on Aug 21st, not been logged yet. Medical was Aug 31st and my results have been logged.

So frustrating :( checking every day, several times a day for an update, whole life on pause..

I emailed last week, but no reply, but Wednesday will be the mark of 4 weeks since they signed (special delivery) for my paperwork

Timeline for Matthew & Genevieve

I129F sent: 03/20/13

NOA1: 04/02/13

Transfer to TX SC: 07/10

NOA2: 07/24/13

NVC case number given: 08/16/13

NVC 'Ready': 08/19/13

Medical: 08/31/13

Packet 3 forms submitted before receiving letter: 08/20/13

Packet 3 letter received: 09/05/13

Medical results logged: 09/05/13

Packet 3 documents logged: 09/19/13

Interview date assigned: 09/25/13

Interview date: 10/01/13 (Approved)

Due to collect passport from the Embassy (arranged 10/04): collected from London Embassy 10/08/13 (day before my flight!)

Flight/POE: 10/09/13 - Minneapolis

GOT HITCHED!! - 11/01/13
Filed AOS - 11/05/13

EAD received - 02/27/14
Green Card received - 06/12/14

Of course!! I don't blame you for being nervous. I wish I were the one going to the interview instead of Jake. We did a mock interview over Skype, and the amount of questions he got wrong is scary!! Why are men so bad at remembering dates???

Hi all.

My timeline is done up to now.

We got an email requesting stuff for I-864 when in fact the orginal had it all on anyway and attorney we using confirmed and she rang NVC and spoke to a supervisor about it all.

However it has had to be sent in again so hey ho , they received it today so now i guess we are back to waiting another 20/30 days sad.png for our case to be complete.

Good luck to the ones with interviews coming up ,hopefully you will come back and let us all know what they are asking down there in London smile.png .

Like all yourselves just want all this over with now.

I wanted to ask how come ours has only ever says AT NVC nothing else what so ever. sad.png

I have my interview date for 23 sept and just noticed I have a CEAC update on 13 Sept, no idea why, all my forms were logged in Aug along with medical. Interview letter was dated 23 Aug and CEAC did not update then.

Odd it updated 10 days before interview.
