I'm not sure if this will upload or not, since I got an error the first time, but it seems to show it's attached now. I spent a few hours this morning making a spreadsheet around my case number (about 200 case numbers higher and lower than mine). You can see PD date for cases that are still in initial review and haven/t been transferred, approval dates for those that have been approved, and some other random info like if there was RFE or address change, the dates for those are included there as well. The 'y' in the transfer column means that the case says "has been transferred and is being processed." If the entire row of data is blank then those are cases that were not I-130 applications. I left those in just for spreadsheet integrity when entering the data originally. But you can ignore them.

This spreadsheet may or may not be helpful to anyone, but it was nice for me to at least see that there are approvals kind of all over the place. Some were approved much earlier, so those are probably expedites or extenuating circumstances other than a typical approval, or they were just lucky. But for those near my date, the number of non-approved transfers seems to be getting smaller.

**Just edited this post:**

I couldn't upload that file. Can someone tell me how to upload a google shared file like the other spreadsheet going around for members on the site? Thanks. Gracias. Danke. Salamat.

I didn't want to quote my last post in order to save space, but I calculated 465 total cases (200 with case numbers higher than mine and 263 with case numbers lower than mine - that's just when I got tired of typing in case numbers lol). 62% are still awaiting approval, and 15% have been approved. The remaining 21% are in another status (RFE, address change, initial approval no transfer, re-affirmed/already approved case, etc). And that's just cases around 18 March (my PD), so like I said it may or may not be useful for others, but just wanted to get some sort of larger sample size of cases for people to see what "progress" is being made.

There's a link to the file. The "last three" column isn't the last three, that's just how I started the column originally. Also, most of the 'another status' cases as mentioned are above are in red - until towards the end when I forgot to change them.

Also, here's another good read. Nothing we don't already know, but still..

In case you guys haven't stumbled upon this yet... someone has kindly created a general email (google doc) for all of us to copy and paste and send it to everyone on the email list (on pg 3 of google doc). The plan is that everyone will email/fax them THIS TUESDAY (11/19) in hopes to raise awareness of the issue of the long dreadful processing time. Please help take part in this issue and pass it along.

I truly believe if we all took part in this, we can make change!

Do what you must to make it fit for you. The important part is getting more numbers! Meanwhile, if you do not have access to a fax machine, just use a free online service, like this: http://faxzero.com/ or http://www.freepopfax.com/. Spread this around. E-mails are easily deleted or put directly into SPAM. Faxes are more effective!

How many here are not approved yet, but have received this notice? how long ago?

The I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office.

I received the "transferred and is now being processed" e-mail on Nov 8 (in India, which is 11.5 hours ahead of USCIS office, so most probably it was still Nov 7 in US when the e-mail was sent). I have not been approved yet, PD March 4.

I'm the beneficiary, wife of USC.
12/30/2012: Got engaged.
1/16/2013: Got married in India.

I-130:
2/28/2013: Attorney mailed the I-130 from a U.S. address.
3/4/2013: Priority date, NOA1.
11/6/2013: Case was transferred to Nebraska Service Center.

1/6/2014: 60 days of transfer are up, put in an e-request, given 30 days' time. Contacted the senator. Senator asked to wait till Feb 6 and if nothing then she will do something.
2/5/2014: Website status changed to RFE.
2/10/2014: Attorney gets RFE. They need G325A and photos of both me and husband, original marriage certificate, copy of marriage record and it's translation.
2/15/2014: Mailed the requisite documents to husband.
2/19/2014: Documents received by husband.
2/24/2014: RFE mailed.
2/26/2014: Case status changed to RFE review.
3/6/2014: After 367 days, NOA2.

After approval kept calling NVC but NVC always had one reply, file was not in their system. Husband too called USCIS National Customer Service Center and was told case was sent to NVC.
4/2/2014: Write to NSCFollowup to know about the status of the petition.
4/10/2014: Put in a ?service request with USCIS starting with OVP to locate case.
4/16/2014: Reply from NSCFollowup that the U.S. law prohibited that office from responding to anyone other than the petitioner and to have the petitioner contact them.
4/18/2014: Sent email to NVC Research to locate the case.
4/22/2014: Petitioner sent email to NSCFollowup
5/14/2014: Receive email from NVC Research that they do not have a record of receiving the petition.
5/16/2014: Congressman's immigration caseworker contacted supervisor at NSC who said the petition is pending and will be dispatched in two weeks.
5/27/2014: Petitioner received response from NSCFollowup that the case was pending an internal extended review. Really?
6/19/2014: USCIS case status change, "On June 19, 2014, we shipped this case..."
7/1/2014: Case received at NVC.
7/14/2014: NVC case number assigned.
8/1/2014: AOS and IV fees invoiced.
8/2/2014: AOS and IV fees paid.
8/5/2014: AOS and IV fees status changed to paid.
8/6/2014: AOS and IV packages mailed, completed and submitted DS-260.
8/7/2014: AOS and IV packages delivered to NVC.
8/8/2014: AOS and IV packages put into the system (scanned).
9/20/2014: Get the 60-day email.
9/30/2014: Case Complete!
10/3/2014: Interview scheduled for November 7.
10/20/2014: Medical appointment.

11/07/2014: Interview.

11/29/2014: POE JFK.

Looking at the spreadsheet, it appears that CSC is the center moving the fastest, by far. The 7 transfers having NOA2 took an average of 11 days. NSC has the same number of transfers (31) but only 3 approvals which took an average of 17 days (and there hasn't been an approval in 9 days). As for TSC, nothing yet.

Mine is in TSC :(

I'm from Indonesia (the beneficiary), and my husband is a USC.

USCIS

06/04/2011: Got married in Surabaya, Indonesia

03/10/2013: (Some time at these dates) Filed I-130 through a lawyer

03/25/2013: Priority date, NOA1

11/08/2013: Case was transferred to Texas Service Center

11/16/2013: Case update: "was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office."

11/25/2013: NOA2. Post Decision Activity: APPROVED (by Texas Service Center)

12/05/2013: Received NOA2 in the mail.

12/19/2013: "Shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing."

NVC

01/03/2014: NVC received our case work.

03/26/2014: Called NVC and they said that there's an error on the affidavit support and they didn't get copy of my passport. This case, I blame our lawyer.

Thank you, hoping for my approval two weeks after the transfer. NSC did look promising in the beginning, but seems like things have slowed down now.

Filed: IR-5 Country: United Kingdom
Timeline

Nebraska is showing 11 months to process. I'm calling tomorrow to ascertain if this means waiting an additional 11 months to the 8 we already have waited. I also think it's BS that people who filed later than March are getting approved faster. I've noticed one country that seems to be following this trend..

Any thoughts on the processing time if it truly will be another year to reach a decision?
