For the most part, that's true. I was referring to that post where someone might have been looking to engage in immigration fraud. If they're reading this stuff....I wouldn't want to be associated with that nonsense. Know what I mean?

Hi blueberry! I'm with you on that. Do you have any plans of filling i-129?

And if i wanted to know where to send it? I'm reading a lot of topics and guides some say in dallas lockbox, some say where marriage took place. If reading USCIS main page is says there dallas and with the instructions it says where marriage took place.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. :)

I don't think we're gonna file I-129f..

But you should send it to Dallas Lockbox.

Form I-129F, Petition for Alien Fiancé(e): Next, file Form I-129F on behalf of your non-citizen spouse with the Dallas Lockbox after filing Form I-130. Include a copy of the I-797, Notice of Action, indicating that USCIS has received your Form I-130, on behalf of your non-citizen spouse.

Although, I just read on K-3 forum someone sent theirs to Overland Park (where their I-130 is) and it was accepted. Ha. rolleyes.gif

If the NVC receives the approved I-129F petition before it receives the I-130 petition, the NVC will process the I-129F petition.

The NVC will mail you a letter if it sends your spouse’s I-129F petition to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate. Upon receiving this letter, inform your spouse to take the below listed actions to apply for a K3 visa and prepare for the interview.

NVC will then send the I-129F petition to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in the country where the marriage took place. If the marriage took place in the United States, the NVC will send the petition to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate that issues visas in the foreign-citizen spouse’s country of nationality. If the marriage took place in a country that does not have a U.S. Embassy, or the Embassy or Consulate does not issue visas, the NVC will send the petition to the U.S.

Not sure if it's correct and up to date. It is kinda confusing though and USCIS site doesn't mention anything about it.

We received our NOA2 a few days ago via email. Not sure if it matters, but I'm a USC filing from abroad.

We haven't received our paper form via snail mail just yet so I'm not sure if it came from KS or MO. Our NOA1 came from KS.

I'll be sure to post more once I have it.

We received our NOA2 a few days ago via email. Not sure if it matters, but I'm a USC filing from abroad.

We haven't received our paper form via snail mail just yet so I'm not sure if it came from KS or MO. Our NOA1 came from KS.

I-130s from USCs abroad are usually expedited, so it does matter :)

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

 

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

 

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered
September 30th 2016: Check cashed
October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

Yes, many seem at least at the 5-6 month mark. So I wonder what happened with soulfulsplash's fast turnaround up there. It's an anomaly for sure.

We filed in September and I just looked at my timeline and my adjudication date has changed from November to February. Any idea why this huge change would have happened?

Where did your NOA1 come from? Texas Service Center? That's what your timeline says.

Most of ours came from National Benefits Center, Overland Park, KS. Double check your hard copy NOA1.

My NOA1 came from Overland Park, KS (NBC/MSC) and my timeline gives me an estimate of April 26, 2014-May26, 2014. :/ Thank God that I am living with my spouse during this process.
