Maybe someone can explain this to me. Originally, our case was created at the embassy on May 14. She had her interview on June 24. Our case was in AP until August 23 and changed to Ready. Now on August 27, our case status is again in AP and our case creation date is now August 23.

This is so frustrating because there seems to be no rhyme or reason for what they are doing. If anyone can explain it to me, I will be eternally grateful.

im sorry to butt in but you've been on AP for 2 months? wow that's nuts. anyway may i ask why you were put on ap for that long? were you given a 221g form?

01-04-2013: SENT I 129F PACKET

01-17-2013: NOA1 (VERMONT SERVICE CENTER)

05-28-2013: CASE TRANSFER FROM VSC TO TSC

07-02-2013: NOA2

07-26-2013: GOT MNL # THROUGH EMAIL (NVC)

08-08-2013: 1ST DAY OF MEDICAL AT SLEC (HOLIDAY THE NEXT DAY AND OVER THE WEEKEND)

08-12-2013: 2ND DAY FOR IMMUNIZATION (4 SHOTS)

08-19-2013: APPOINTMENT INTERVIEW / CANCELLED DUE TO SEVERE FLOOD

08-23-2013: RESCHEDULED INTERVIEW / PUT UNDER ADMINISTRATIVE REVIEW DUE TO MY J1 VISA BEFORE

CEAC STATUS CHECK AS OF 09-02-2013: STILL "READY" FOR THE INTERVIEW. NO CHANGE YET.

09-30-13: READY OPEN CASE

10-01-13: ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING

10-02-13: ISSUED

10-05-13: VISA ON HAND

10-16-13: POE HONOLULU HI

She was given nothing at the interview and they kept her passport. The consul told her everything is fine and that she should hear something in a week to 10 days. Nothing for over a month. Then she got a phone call that they wanted my taxes. I faxed them the very next day. Then three more weeks until now. I prepared our paperwork and it was meticulous so I just don't understand.

Your visa will be issued within a week. I had my interview last Aug. 14 then after a day (Aug. 15) visa status changed to into AP. August 22, Ready. Aug. 23 AP and on the same day in the afternoon status changed to "Issued" already.

Whatever our souls are made of HIS and MINE are the same! :)

We had the same interview date. Checked my acct on CEAC,..

Case Creation Date: 24-Jun-2013

Status Updated Date: 12-Jul-2013

I was thinking case creation date should be the interview date.( though i'm not sure with this). Anyway sometimes mix-up in the system is normal. The good thing is they keep updating your case. Did you try to call embassy to know the real status? I went to AP for 1 day and then ISSUED the next day. Hoping for your visa issuance soon!!!!

04-26-2017 ( Day 371)-  USCIS status changed from " Name Updated" to "New Card Is Being Produced" ( both K1 and K2 app)

05-01-2017 ( Day 376)-   USCIS status changed from "New Card Is Being Produced" to "Card Was Mailed To Me" ( K2 case)

05-02-2017 ( Day 377)-   USCIS status changed from "New Card Is Being Produced" to "Card Was Mailed To Me" ( K1 case)

can any one help me plz my case was in administrative process since my interview date 27 aug 2015 last 19 nov i see my case was ready then same day it was opened then again went to administrative process early toady 23 nov it was again ready now its again in administrative process

My case also in administrative processing since 24th August, when they recived the wedding photos they update on 8 ,9,10,11,14th September and since then nothing changed
