Anybody got new approvals from nebraska, it is kinda quite these days

Good question, I would like to know that as well. Does anyone know how long does it take once I-130 is approved for spouse to come to US? Assume priority date stays current for most of us.

After my case transferred on 16th of August to Nebraska I got another mail yesterday(22 Aug) stating ....

"The I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move....."

does this means soon I will get a decision/RFE....?

you need to wait for the decision.. how long? we do not know...

i think until now no news from nebraska all are waiting still. lets hope in september we see approvals from NSC!

I think they change it when you call and ask something. My PD is July 11, and on July 19 i called them to clarify something and they updated my case with address change.

July 11, 2013 - NOA 1

September 12, 2013 - Transfer to Nebraska

September 20, 2013 - Case touched

November 14, 2013 - NOA 2

Case shipped to DOS - November 19, 2013

NVC Stage

December 11, 2013 - NVC received my case

December 30, 2013 - NVC case number issued

January 2, 2013 - NVC issued invoice number

January 13, 2013 - DS261 filled out

January 15, 2013 - AOS invoice received and paid

January 17, 2013 - AOS package sent

January 21, 2014 - Fed ex delivered package (NVC confirmed receipt on 22nd)

January 21, 2014 - IV fee invoice received and paid

January 22, 2014 - IV documents sent (payment in process but cleared from bank)

January 23, 2014 - submitted DS260 form, iv documents delivered per fedex (24th per NVC)

February 12, 2014 - received fake checklist for IV package

February 21, 2014 - Case completed (by phone)

April 2, 2014 - Called and got interview date May 13, 2014

May 13, 2014 - Counsel needed some time to to review docs

May 27, 2014 - Interview round two and visa approved

Maybe it is for good i.e. they are looking at your case and will be approved soon.

maybe u should ask your petitioner if she/he emailed USCIS for the change of address.. or the beneficiary if u are the petitioner...good.gifwink.png

Nope none of us (petitioner/beneficiary) have contacted USCIS.........

Hopefully this means that someone is now working on my cases. Fingers crossed. It will be nice to appear for AOS interview with an approved 130 petition :))

Our case arrived at NSC on August 14. On August 19 I received the following update from USCIS:

...your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN...

This makes sense to me because the petition was filed before the petitioner received his A#. The petition was filed with the petitioner's A# as "TBD". PD is 2012-09-14.

This shows that Nebraska is looking at cases that have been transferred from Vermont.

My priority date is 26 Feb 2013 and my case got transfer too to NSC. My online status got updated first and it said it got transfer to local office but today I got postal notification which states that it is transferred to NSC. Lets hope they process it while the F2A is current.

July 3, Received postal mail from NVC that my visa preference has upgraded to CR1

Hi Just signed up on this forum..I am GC holder.

my PD is Feb 2013. Last week I also got notification that my case is transferred to Nebraska Service Center.

But yesterday I got a mail stating your case was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office.

I called them but no proper answer received. So if any one can help me out with this??

Does this mean they have initiated process of background check and all??

On August 27, 2013, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

I have no idea whether this is an approval or not. Anyone received this type of message? If it is an approval, why are they sending this to the department of state when I clearly stated on the application that I was adjusting in the US?

It seems your I-130 is approved. Are you GC holder or citizen?
